This soap was my holy grail. BUT Sheamoisture has been quietly changing all the formulas. Coconut oil is no longer the 1st ingredients, is sodium palmatefolliwed by a bunch of other sodium _____. Extremely drying!!!
I bought this soap because normally I love SheaMoisture products, especially their African Soap, but this one was awful. First, the bar is so big that you can barely hold it in your hand. Second, it smells NOTHING at all like coconut or hibiscus or anything even close to that. It smells just like Play-Doh. Even with those things, I still have it a try, but it dried out my skin so bad and made me so itchy. I had to go out and buy the creamiest soap I could find and the match lotion and Ive still been itchy and trying to recover even 4 days later. I'm so disappointed.
BURNED & HORRIBLE SMELL
used it for two days and burned my lady bits,left my skin feeling so dry, never again !!!
Bad scent
I wanted to love this because I love several of their other products but the scent is awful. It smells like playdoh. The bar is huge so it's a good bang for your buck but if you're someone with a strong sense of smell like me, skip this scent.

This smells nothing like the other coconut/hibiscus shea moisture products. It has an earthy smell and doesn't leave you feeling fresh.
