Surprised how much I Like It! Recommended
Great moisturizer to prep under makeup application. Skeptical, but a believer now! Really provides a wonderful even layer, not oily, I like to wait up to 3 min before putting anything on top. Smells great. I don't notice a shimmer/glow but a def go-to.
Bad Reaction
I purchased this and used it one time. I had the worst reaction to it!! My face had horrible red patches and I was completely uncomfortable. Itchy and painful. Definitely not a good experience for me. :(
Separated my makeup
I bought this specifically because it says it improves the look of makeup. It does the exact opposite. It made my It Cosmetics CC cream completely separate on my face. I looked like a splotchy mess all day and it kept getting worse throughout the day. When I went to wash my face that evening the makeup was almost completely gone from my nose and under my eyes when I didn't touch that part of my face all day. Will be returning for sure. One review said to try mixing it with another moisturizer so I tried that and it was even worse.
PSA FOR ANYONE SAYING ITS NOT MOISTURIZING ENOUGH
I'm seeing a lot of people saying how much they love what this does for their skin (brightening, evening skin tone & texture, etc) then saying "but it's not moisturizing enough so I have to return" or "my skin feels dry/not moisturized enough"…. This is a Lightweight Gel moisturizer!! NO MATTER what your skin type is- even if if your skin is extremelyyy oily— you should always layer another moisturizer with a light weight, especially gel, moisturizer.. I actually use a lightweight moisturizer- which varies depending on my skin concerns/needs- and then I'll use a pretty thick/moisturizing cream (like the " Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream", **TRUST ME WHEN I SAY YOU NEED THIS CREAM whoever you are… it is more hydrating than the 'glass skin' viral hydrogel collagen masks, and gives you the same glass skin effect!!!) …and then I ALSO use a (usually lightweight) SPF 45-50 face cream. Just saying, it's ridiculous to expect a lightweight gel moisturizer to provide the hydration your face needs al on its own. PLUS- it doesn't make sense to say your face felt dry/bare after using it but it's not absorbing into your face 🤔🤔 that usually means it's absorbed. (If you made it this far, thanks for listening to my rant & you're beautiful have a lovely day💗)
Had high hopes
I had high hopes for this lotion because their banana bright primer makes my skin even and bright. But this does nothing to my skin. I guess it settles well into my skin and the primer goes on well over the top of it, but for the price and size i wont be repurchasing.
