Solid Lipgloss - but not a lip oil
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Lip oils have been big lately - and I was excited to see Dior entering the field! But the formula on this confused me, as it is definitely a lipgloss and not a lip oil. The formula feels sticky and heavy, and isn't particularly moisturizing....

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I'd give this new Dior lip oil a full 5/5. The tint is very soft and natural on me, which makes it perfect for everyday wear. It adds just enough color to make my lips look healthy and juicy without screaming "I'm wearing lipstick." The formula itself is incredibly moisturizing, and feels more like a treatment than just gloss. My lips stay comfortable even after it wears down. My favorite part is honestly the applicator. The shape hugs the lips so well and the little bristles feel plush and cushiony as I swipe it on, so it's weirdly fun to reapply. The scent is subtle but still has that luxe Dior vibe, and I notice a faint sugary taste right after I put it on, which I actually really like. If I had to nitpick, I do wish the shine and tint lasted a bit longer, but reapplying is so quick and easy that it doesn't bother me much. The product itself is small, lightweight, and durable, which makes it perfect for throwing in a purse or work bag. I would highly recommend this!
Thick but sheer oil
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Nice gloss/oil. Thick but not too sticky - sticky enough to last a bit longer than a normal gloss. Moisturizing feel to the lips but not runny like other lip oils. Sticks around for a bit even after talking and drinking coffee. Super sheer finish without a flavor.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is as luxe as lip oils can go! Will it change your life? No, but it is sure a lovely product if you're looking to splurge! I personally have a hard time justifying spending so much money on lip oil (even though I love all Dior makeup products I own!), which is why I docked a star. The texture is soft and super moisturizing! I am normally not a fan of how lip oils feel, but this one is not sticky at all. It feels hydrating and emollient, without being heavy. I am a huge fan of the oversized doe-foot applicator, and this one feels so plush. I have the shade 007 - Raspberry, and even though it looks quite bright in the tube, I find that it sheers out nicely and provides a barely-there tint. I love the glow, and I find that this oil lasts about 1-2 hours on my lips, if I'm careful with eating and drinking. My favorite thing about this product is the scent - it smells just like the original Tic Tacs! A delicious, sweet and minty combo. The packaging is obviously gorgeous, and it is definitely a coveted piece to pull out when you're out and about. Talk about a status symbol!
