The Perfect Summer ScentI received a small product sample to review. If there was ever the perfect summer scent, it would be Paco Rabanne 1 Million Parfum. This a scent that will get you noticed and remembered. It smells leathery, a bit woodsy, spicy, a bit floral, a bit…combine all of that and let is simmer under the sun. Then you'll realize this is no ordinary scent. It almost feels like the perfect California summer scent. Once you try it, it's intoxicating and addictive. It's distinctive and unique. The scent sort of lingers, dissipates just a bit, and lasts for hours. It should be a great scent to wear all year round since it's light and airy. But it feels extra special during the summer. If you've ever wondered what summer would smell like in a bottle then here it is. So grab a bottle and thank me later, when you're listening to some Sade because you'll be a smooth operator and experience no ordinary love with this perfect summer scent that's versatile and sophisticated enough to wear all year round.1 Honest OpinionI have always wondered about reviews on colognes, parfum's, perfumes, etc. It seems to me that the cheap ones smell like alcohol and "Whatever" and the more expensive ones, well to say what they smell like is relative. To start with, parfume's, etc. all smell different in the bottle than on the body, and then they have to be applied and allowed to rest, and even then it (you) will smell different to you than to someone else. So at the end of the day, It's personal... They all smell different on different people, and that's fine. Fragrances usually fall into certain categories, whether good or bad, like, flowery, musky, spices, citrusy, etc. Paco Rabanne 1 Million Parfum smelled fine in the bottle, it had a mild musk-like odor to it and was fairly pleasant, not overdone. However when applied (2 different times) It seemed to have a scented soap odor, to both myself and my wife, this was a first for each of us. on the plus side, it was not overpowering and it lasted a very long time... at least 24 hours. The marketing is WAY over the top and definitely geared towards certain cultures and lifestyles. My recommendation would be to get a sample and try it on first, maybe you will like it, or better yet, maybe she will. As for value, I can't comment on that because it apparently does not get along with me, so I would not buy it.

My son uses this product by itself and the scent lasts for hours. He also purchased an elixir that you could mix with other perfumes and so he will mix these two. He will spray to sprays in the morning and when he comes home in the afternoon you can still smell it.
