Most Helpful Positive Review Love it
Purchased this to replace and old plastic back brush that had cracked in half. I love the bristles on this brush. They are very soft and hold soap well. The handle has a curve to it so it really fits your back well. I am so pleased with this brush and would recommend it to all.
Most Helpful Critical Review DO NOT BUY THIS
I saw this brush in the store and thought that it would be the perfect tool for scrubbing my back. Little did I know that my entire body would be itching intensely for over a week due to tiny invisible fibers stuck in my skin. I thought that I had just exfoliated too hard and that my skin had become incredibly dry, but it wasn't until a full week of my entire body itching that I realized that I have fibers stuck in my body. I have since stopped using the brush, but I live in such a remote area that finding epsom salt is no easy task. I definitely advise everyone to STAY AWAY from this brush.

This brush is great. I like that it's on the gentle side (my husband wishes it was more like a back scratcher LOL) My only advice would be to make sure you keep it in a dry place when you're not using it.
I would definitely buy this product again

As I get older I need something for the harder to reach spots! This works great
It's so soft!

I have occasional back acne that is manageable with a good loofah bush to ensure I'm reaching all the places. When I was forced to throw my last one out, I wanted a more eco friendly alternative. This brush is perfect! It's softer than a loofah, and I love how it makes my skin feel. The only problem is if you want to be completely zero waste it does come with a plastic packaging around the bristles for hygiene reasons. I'm not completely zero waste, so it was a good step in the right direction for me.

I bought this to be able to reach my back and for a deep scrub and it's perfect. The Bristles are soft but they do scrub well.
Not Exfoliative at ALL
Erin from Dallas, TX
The bristles on this turn to mush once wet. Unless you're gonna use this as a dry brush it's not worth it at all.

I'd been looking for a back brush for a while and noticed the reviews were really good on this one - it did not disappoint! I like how the bristles are soft and not abrasive on the skin. The handle is curved and easy to use. Unlike other brushes, I haven't had any issues with bristles falling out. Definitely recommend this!
From new to garbage in a week

My sister and I both bought one and we left it in an often air place away from unnecessary moisture, unfortunately the moisture was still stuck in the brush and it mildewed in a week.

The bristles are so soft! This is a staple tool for me from now on! I feel like if you don't have one of these yet, you're not living!!
Exactly what I was looking for!

I was looking for a brush to scrub the back of my shoulders with and this is perfect. I have had this for about 2 weeks now and have not had any problems with mold/mildew like the other reviews. I plan on replacing about every month anyways, as you would with any other lufa or sponge.
Softer than expected

Bristles are not as stuff as expected, but probably better for the skin. Easy to wash and dry.
Worth the money

Super light weight
Christina from Ormond Beach, FL
Bristles are soft yet strong enough to gently exfoliate. The handle is made of bamboo so it is very moisture sensitive and warps quickly. Since this is supposed to be used in the bathroom where moisture is always present, I was a little disappointed that the product is warping so rapidly. Usually bamboo when exposed to moisture is treated with mineral oil to help it maintain its shape. The only problem is if I treat the handle with mineral oil it will be too slippery to hold on to while in the shower. It's definitely a catch-22. Not sure they thought about this product development very well.

Worked great on my feet...but then THE MOLD
QueenCatBeauty from Kansas
I got this specifically for my feet, and it worked great and felt fantastic. However, I didn't get much use out of it due to the fact that the wood molded so quickly!

Not even two weeks, mold is growing on the base underneath bristles. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY
Beware of mildew
hardtodream from new england
I bought this brush approximately 10 days ago. A few days after starting to use it I noticed dark smears on the bamboo around the bristles/bleeding up into the base of each cluster of bristles, but I figured that was soap stains or the like. Today I finally decided to check reviews and investigate it further, and lo and behold, it's mildew. Now I can understand mildew growing after a month or two of continuous use, but this brush hasn't even been in circulation for 10 full days, let alone two weeks - and it was growing this mildew after less than 7 days of use anyway. This is honestly unacceptable to me. I take mold and mildew issues very seriously, and I would prefer Ecotools to stop manufacturing this product or for Ulta to stop selling it. I advise anyone looking for a good bath brush that can be used wet to avoid this one and try for one made of wood and/or plastic with natural bristles.
There's always a downside

I had been looking for a brush like this for a while. I never felt clean because I couldn't reach my back. finally I was able to use this. it was amazing. the downpart that I'm not rating it a 5 star is that after a month of use the brushhead has developed a black coloring behind the bristles and on the handlebar. it's gross and I can't use it anymore :/
Paula from Tecas
Bristles are extremely gentle. Good reach with the handle and comfortable grip.
Debra from Maine
I've always wanted a back brush for the shower. When I first opened it the bristles felt soft in my hands but when I used it on my back it felt great, it wasn't soft, it was great. I'd buy it again for the price & may even give as gifts.
