Wearing gloves, massage a small amount into wet hair. Lather, rinse and repeat. Depending on your hair color and type, use 2-4 times per month (approximately every 3rd wash), or as you notice brassiness. If you feel that you used too much, or left it on too long, a purifying shampoo will help remove excess purple pigment, sparing you from rocking unwanted lavender locks. This product is highly pigmented. Do not use at vanity or counter tops. After applying, rinse hair and shower surfaces thoroughly and quickly to avoid any staining.
Precautions: This product is highly pigmented. Use only with gloves. Do not use at vanity or counter tops. After applying, rinse hair and shower surfaces thoroughly and quickly to avoid any staining. Read all instructions on this product before use.

No Joke!
I have used this L'ange purple shampoo many times. The first time I made the mistake of leaving it on my hair for 3 minutes. Well, of course, my hair was lavender when it dried. So I washed it out with a clarifying shampoo. The next time I used this shampoo I rinsed it out immediately after lath...

Intense Violet Shampoo disappointment
This product is too intense. I didn't want my hair to look purple. I've had graying hair since high school and then white hair for the past 30 years. I have used products to keep the yellowing out of my hair, but over the past couple of years due to probably poor diet and stress while attending to m...

Super powerful
I have platinum short hair. Very porous. I will mix this with regular shampoo in the future, as this is very intense! I did not leave it on more than 30 seconds. Great product - will last me forever.
Horrible
Im surprised with all the 5 star reviews! I've had blonde balayage for over a year and decided to try L'ange Purple Toning Shampoo. After two months, my hair was completely damaged. My blonde pieces broke off, leaving my hair choppy and brittle. I had to toss it and switch to Amika, which has been a lifesaver for my recovery. I would never recommend this product to anyone!!
Best purple shampoo
My partner has naturally blonde hair that is a bit on the darker side. Her hair is also pretty thick (thick strands, moderate amount of hair) and the bottle usually lasts her a couple months with washing every 3-5 days. She uses this shampoo every other wash and it really brightens her hair up. She usually leaves it in for a few minutes and has never had issues with it staining purple. It is also just a good shampoo to the point that in the winter (when her hair gets a little darker) she can use it for every wash without drying out her hair. Smells nice too!
Yes!
Hair Type Straight Hair
I have purchased this shampoo over and over due to such good results. Not only with the toning results, but it also leaves my hair conditioned and manageable without a conditioner. The toning is more towards the purple side of things for my natural grey hair, which was my goal. It does not work as well on processed blond highlights. I wash my hair almost every evening and I think it lasts a few days before fading. I will purchasing this product as long as the formula stays the same.
Would not purchase again
I've used a lot of purple shampoos and this one is one of the worst! It is like water pouring in your hands with purple dye in it. It does not lather at all and I notice no change to my hair after using. My hair feels strawlike after use. At this point I'm halfway through the bottle and I would never purchase this again. Don't waste your money, there are better purple shampoos out there.
