For maximum odor and sweat protection, follow the takesumi detox 3-step method:
STEP 1: the underarm bar:
Lather bar and massage into each underarm in a circular motion for 30 seconds. If you have body hair, ensure the lather reaches the surface of the skin.
STEP 2: the charcoal deodorant:
Follow with a generous application of charcoal deodorant.
STEP 3: the sweat powder:Apply a generous layer of the sweat powder over top of your deodorant for extra protection against excess perspiration.
This bar can also be used on feet to manage excess odor.

Too complicated
I received a sample and have tried it a few times. I'm not sure I feel a huge difference but there is certainly a difference. The challenge I have is with the bar itself. Shampoo bars, conditioner bars, body bars, like all serve a purpose in the shower. But this is only an underarm bar, that's not supposed to stored in the shower, shouldn't be stored under wet conditions, but can be stored on a soap dish…I mean…how complicated. It's one thing if this bar was in a case that was like a deodorant. Just easier to bring around, easier to store, easier to grab. But who needs another bar?
