I received a free sample of this after placing an order for another Beekman product. Is it suppose to be like a hard, candle wax consistency? The travel size container it came in was less than half full, and it definitely wasn't a whipped cream.

How can this be clean, when it contains phenoxyethanol?

This is a widely used gentle, non-irritating preservative and is often used as it is not a natural formaldehyde-releaser. This is a great moisturizer when on the go. Perfect amount of smell for me and my allergies. I'm sensitive to perfumes. The scent doesn't last long or harsh smelling. I bought the pistachio/cherry. Love it after a shower.

The smell is almost like a medication at first when you spray it (I got the coconut milk) but once it wears off it's a light tropical coconut smell which is nice. I haven't used it enough yet to know if it moisturizes. The price point is high also. all together I wouldn't probably buy again.
