Gorgeous product
I received the color Celestial Light. First let me say the packaging is gorgeous. The metallic lidded jar is a generous size, and contains 1 ounce of powder, but a little goes a long way. The inner top has a typical square holes shaker, which has a protective plastic sticker over it. When you swatch...

Not a setting powder!!
I had very high expectations for this setting powder. I'm a huge Laura Mercier fan, and I associate the brand with quality products that perform. This particular Light Catcher setting powder (I tried the one in "Celestial Light") is just soooooo bad for a setting powder. It has so much shimmer in i...

I would not buy this product again
Would not purchase this product again, definitely not a setting powder. Seems to be more of a highlight, Cosmic Rose was so pigmented. You cant blend it in at all, had to wash off all of my makeup and start from scratch.
glitter not luminuous
I am looking for something that adds luminosity not glitter all over my face. Returned it right away. The glitter is small but it is glitter none the less.

I like this product
Love it but can't use it very often

This formula contains those untraceable and extremely high quality mica sparkles that fancy sophisticated ladies tend to use on a night out. For a day look, I'll press the tiniest amount on my cheek bones, and then hit the tip of my nose and eyelids - it does have potential to be a glorious, shimmery eyeshadow. Like everybody else is mentioning in the comments, it's more of a highlighter than a setting powder, and if you're after a setting powder, spare yourself the pain and get the matte talc or talc free version. As a highlight/eye glimmer, this will last me 10 years.
