Cooling EffectI used this actually on my wet hair at night before bed. After having a pony tail all day my scalp gets sensitive. This immediately had a cooling and nourishing effect. It doesn't take much. I like that it has biotin in there as well. Very conditioning.InterestingI have a difficult relationship with Matrix Instacure Tension Reliever. I have never tried a product like this so I was excited to see what benefits it provides. For back ground, my hair is damaged. I am trying to mend my breakage and split ends. I try to limit tension on my hair but sometimes a bun is necessary! Like all of Matrix Instacure line, the scent is amazing and lasts. The consistency of the product is like a cool, liquidy lotion. It did leave a film on my fingers after applying. I really was impressed with how it felt like it had a cooling aspect to it. I love the ingredients and thought behind it. However, it made my roots feel and look greasy which outweighed any positive effect it may have had. I applied it to freshly washed hair, applied a small amount, etc. I'm going to continue to try but be warned if your hair tends to get greasy easily, this may not be for you.

I'm enjoying this scalp serum, I have really dry scalp sometimes and it's been helping me so much! I use the same line, shampoo and conditioner and they all 3 work so good together. I'm really enjoying this line. I recommend it the amount of product that comes with is worth the price.

I really enjoyed this! The minty and tingly feeling was DIVINE. I wasn't expecting that at all! I didn't use it on dry hair though, I used it in the shower before I shampooed in order to avoid getting greasy faster. It definitely soothed a sore scalp and felt amazing!

I wear my hair up every day for my job and use a lot of hairspray. This helps to clean and clarify my scalp of any product build up. I use this when needed and I feel like my hair needs a cleanse! Will continue to purchase this!
