Hot Tools 1875W Rainbow Gold Turbo Hair Dryer is quiet and powerful and dries your hair up to 50% faster.
I love this blowdryer! I have been wanting a new one for awhile because my old one was just about to bite the dust and I decided on this one after reading the reviews. Not only do I like the design of it, but I love the way it dries my hair. The heat is not overwhelming to where it feels like it is burning, but it is enough to help dry my hair. The power of air is nice too. It works great on my thick, course hair and would highly recommend this to anyone with really thick hair because it dries mine a lot faster than most dryers!
I've had numerous Hot Tools hairdryers and can say nothing but good things about them. This hair dryer is the exception. It's beautiful and dries my hair quickly with less frizz than my other hairdryers. After having this hairdryer for a few months the handle started to become so hot that it would burn my hand. Then is started to smell like burning plastic and the handle actually started to warp from it being so hot. I went onto the reviews and found numerous others that have had the same issue. I brought it back to Ulta and they exchanged it for another Hot Tools Hair Dryer. Thank you Ulta for standing behind your products!
I was skeptical because of the price point, but this is a really nice blow dryer! It's very light weight, which is what I was looking for. I also liked that it had the attachments included-great if all you need is a standard blow dryer honestly.
it was good while it lasted but it's definitely not worth the money I paid for it. the motor fan broke and it got super loud as well as super hot, I couldn't even use it.
Mine broke after less than 2 years of use and now when I use the low heat, it makes a noise and stops blowing hot air for like 10 secs.
This hair dryer has done nothing but annoy me since I purchased it 8 months ago. I could not - no matter how I tried - get the fan cover to come off so I could clean the screen (something I regularly do to prolong the life of all hair driers I have owned for 40+ years). I checked the box to make sure it said it was removable - for $70 it better be - and it said it was removable. My stylist told me to bring the hair dryer to him and he would see if he could figure out why it wouldn't come off, so I did. He popped it right off easily - of course! - but now the stupid thing won't stay on.
I usually dry my hair on high heat, low fan setting, but if I turn the dryer off, about 5 seconds later an audible "click" can be heard, and when I turn it back on - same setting - it blasts at high speed for about 30-45 seconds then drops back to low speed…
The fan cover pops off while I'm drying my hair ALL the time, which is such a pain. I've never despised a hair dryer so much. Wish I could return for a refund, but way too late now. I'm never purchasing anything from Hot Tools again, what a waste of $70.
