Terribly Drying.

My hair is thick, curly, and very porous with oily roots and dry ends. Because of this, I struggle to find products that don't throw my finely-tuned haircare routine into chaos. Well, this product did it. I applied this product as the instructions suggested and dried my hair with a blow drier and wi...thout to see the difference. With a blow dryer, my hair was dry in about 30-45 minutes compared to my usual hour and a half. Letting it dry naturally, it took about an hour and 15 minutes compared to 3 to 4 hours. I thought this product was a miracle, and could not stop using it. About two weeks after using this product on wash days, I noticed my hair becoming more brittle. My hair appeared more damaged and split ends became more noticeable. Then my scalp started itching and burning. Within two weeks of use, my hair dried out terribly, I started producing large amounts of dandruff, and I experienced sores in my hairline. Yeah, not a good look at all. The sores appeared in my hairline where my bangs were and at my hairline at the base of my neck. They itched and burned for days until large crusty scabs appeared over top of them. A few days after they scabbed over, the scabs fell out with the ridiculous amounts of dandruff I was experiencing. I rated two stars because I found that the spray did indeed make my thick, coarse hair dry much more rapidly than usual, but this doesn's outweigh all the cons I experienced with this product and the whole product line. I will not be using this product moving forward and instead will share it with someone else who may not struggle with it so much. Now I'm stuck trying to rehydrate my hair and scalp to make my hair look healthy again and remove dandruff. Not happy, OGX.
