Adds volume with using rollers I received the Hot Tools Signature Series Detachable Small Head Volumizer and Hair Dryer to review. I think it is a great idea to have a hair dryer and a brush that creates volume or use it straighten your hair. I did not find the volumizer brush small, so I don't know what they mean by small. I do like that it adds volume to my long hair without using curlers or a curling iron. Using the brush, the volumizer you can straighten your hair as well. The dryer, which you use before using the volumizer, is not very strong. If you have a lot of hair or long hair, it will take a long time. It has a small opening to the blower which I would say it only about an inch or a little more. The instructions tell you to dry your hair most of the way before using the brush. You can use the hair volumizer on damp hair but not wet. The dryer has several settings to control the temperature. I was worried that the brush would be to harsh on my long hair and pull it out or tear it. However, it was very gentle on my hair and glided through. The bristles are similar to a wet brush, with the combination of boar's hair bristles. I wish the volumizer came in a smaller size so you could create curls or waves. I think it would be a great idea to have different sizes of the volumizer included. The volumizer clips on the dryer where the air comes out. Although the head of the volumizer is cool, where it attaches to the dryer does gets hot. The brush head is about 2 1/2 inches long and about 2 inches wide. It has a reactivated carbon to refresh your hair. You can use the brush to refresh you hair and create volume the next day without washing and blow drying your hair. All in all, I do like it, I just wish it came with different size volumizer brushes and wish the dryer had more power. I think it would be better for shorter hair or a length above or right at the shoulders.
Great features! This Hot tool works great on my medium length coarse hair! It is easier and faster than my regular blow dryer and cuts my styling time in half. The only drawback is the barrel gets really hot and takes awhile to cool down but other than that I would reccomend and I love it!

This worked as it said it would. My hair was shiny and silky. But this tool was too heavy for me to use, even for a short period of time. I am older, so that could be a factor in my ability.

Loving it! This is my first week using it but my hait looks great and it it was quick and easy. That was shocking for me. It tried this type of product about 2 years ago and it was too big and heavy for me to hold to use, so it was a waste. This is easy!!

I always loved HOT TOOLS products. I never a gear brush could be so awesome. I would definetly buy it again. I'm thinking about getting one for my daughter as well. It is so smooth when it glides through your hair, and makes your hair fluffy, soft, frizz free. Your hair dies not tangle. It is awesome awesome awesome!!! Good job HOT TOOLS. Keep up the hood work.

Mine stopped working after 5, 6 months no reason just won't turn on!!!! Most of the hairbrush things fail after 2 months
