The concept of toners and essences have become a bit intermingled in recent years causing a lot of confusion on their purpose. In a Korean beauty routine toner comes before essence, but they are used together in the same routine. Toners are meant to balance the pH of the skin and remove left over dirt, debris and even cleanser that hasn't completely washed out of the skin. This allows for a more effective skin care routine. The Good Acids Pore Toner is formulated with very low levels of AHA and BHA to dissolve any impurities in the skin but balanced with turmeric, aloe and allantoin to make it safe and gentle for twice daily use. While the Wild Dew Treatment Essence also has pH balancing properties this product is unique to Korean beauty as it provides the skin with a tidal wave of hydration that helps everything in your routine that comes after it absorb deeper into the skin! Think of the skin like a dry kitchen sponge. If you were to put dish soap on the dry sponge it would just sit on top, much like our skin. However, when you get the sponge wet it plumps up immediately and begins to absorb and activate the dish soap. This is what the Wild Dew Treatment Essence aims to do. Peach & Lily Wild Dew Essence
I recently switched my skincare routine to Peach and Lily products and have been super happy with the results. The Wild Dew Treatment Essence has been really nice. I use it after cleansing before my serums, treatments and moisturizers. I feel like it helps prep the skin for everything and helps even skin tone. This product absorbs into my skin super quickly and doesn't feel sticky or heavy. I'm overall super happy with this product and the brand in general.

This is refreshing and mildly moisturizing, but did absolutely nothing that an actual moisturizer can't do. Really not worth the price or extra step …and this is coming from a loyal P&L fan. Skip this one!
Obsessed!
I absolutely love this essence. For reference, I have fairly combo skin with sensitivity. I have to be careful when trying new products, but I wanted something to put on prior to my serum, to help it soak into every crack and crevice. This did not disappoint. My face feels so soft, supple and hydrated after using this. I use very good products and brands, and this plays along perfectly. I highly recommend this!
