I have oily/combination skin in hot/humid Texas
I cleanse my face, use moisturizer, eye cream and let that settle into my face for minimum an hour before putting this primer on and then wait 10 minutes before I put my foundation on. I have tried so many primers..and so many foundations.. all say they have staying power (wont crease or get cakey)...

Good for setting makeup
The Forever Velvet Veil goes on smoothly and definitely helps my makeup stay set all day. The only thing I don't like is that the formula changes the hue of my skintone on my face. Great for smoothing and mattifying!
I use one pump of this for my t-zone area. Makes pores look smooth and keeps shine away, removes redness. I have normal leaning dry skin. I use this in warmer months to help control oil. Also doubles as a sheer smoothing skin tint for no makeup days! This does have a light floral scent as other Dior skin products do, but it does dissipate quickly. I will repurchase!!
Not for mature skin
I like the primer is it's added with another primer that's more matte. I am mid 30's and I feel it's more for younger skin . Not terrible but I like something more blurring .

Really a great product. I have very oily skin even at age 60. This leaves your skin with a nice finish. If you have great skin, this would be all you needed. It helped keep my makeup in place and my foundation went on smoother and stayed better too.
Ghost like
I tried this three times before i returned it using different skin prep techniques and unfortunately its not brown skin friendly at ALL. I am a shade or two darker than the darker skinned woman in the ad however it made me look like a ghost. Awful.
