I Wanted To Like It
I usually use the Tahitian pink conditioner or the yellow kalahari melon conditioner from Not Your Mother's. I tried this new one for a couple weeks and don't know why but this rice water conditioner made my hair totally straight and tangly. I really wanted to like it, but all my curls are gone. It smells really nice and is very thick. Perhaps too heavy for my hair!
I love this protein based conditioner

Hair needs protein because it's made of protein (keratin). Using heat, chemicals, and regular manipulation can cause the hair to chip. Even if you are "protein sensitive" you still use protein. If your hair doesn't react well to protein, you are probably using the wrong type of protein for your hair. Like my hair doesn't like vegetable protein and it webs and locks up at the roots, but rice protein leaves my hair soft and manageable. I found my staple protein conditioner finally. Try this if other forms of protein don't work for your hair.
