Age 55 with oily/mature skin that still gets occasional breakouts - I received a large sample size of this as a gift with purchase and was really excited to try it out, which I did for over two weeks. As a woman with mature skin, I'm always looking for those perfect products that can help forestall the signs of aging. This serum is very hydratying and glowy, but to the point of being oily. I definitely could not wear this in the daytime under makeup as it was far too greasy and made my already oily skin super shiny as it broke down any makeup product I wore over it. And, if you have large pores and acne prone skin, you probably won't like this serum as it definitely clogs pores. I even developed cyst-like white bumps all over my chin, cheeks, nose and even the drier sides of my face. That was the bad. Now here's the good: My skin became severely scaly and dry after I bumped up my prescription cream, and this serum did, in fact, reverse that dryness in only two days. That's pretty spectacular! So if I use it every single day (or night, in my case), it can be a bit too much and cause breakouts/acne. If I use it only for a few days if my skin is struggling with excessive dryness and irritation, it works beautifully to correct my skin barrier.

I use this in conjunction with my usual moisturizer (because I'm too lazy to do it separately), and I love how it makes my moisturizer feel more luxurious. It also helps the moisturizer to work better - at least that's how I feel. It slides on smoothly and feels silky. I don't know if it's brightened my skin because I've only been using it for a few days, but I'm definitely planning to get more once this runs out.

Along with my free Luna Rain mini, I have gotten great results in fading my age spots. I noticed an improvement after 4 weeks and now after 6 weeks it just keeps getting better.
