I decided to write this review because of the unfair ratings this brush has received. I this this brush is awesome and I particularly use it for bronzing the skin BUT, before you buy this brush, you have to understand that the bristles are GOAT HAIR. This means this brush WON'T FEEL AS SOFT, but it WILL pick up more product and blend it BEAUTIFULLY and MORE EVENLY into the skin, which is why I reach for this brush so often! The only time I find it shedding is when I use too much pressure.Overall, it's a great brush and it actually gets better the more you use and wash it!
Ok. To start, any other moms out there remember when your baby was a certain age and all of your gloriously thick pregnancy hair decided to fall out over the course of a week or two? Remember that panic, calling your mom, doctor, friend, internet, because you were sure you were going bald? Yeah, that's what this brush reminded me of. I have several Morphe goat hair eyeshadow brushes and they shed a tiny bit here and there but nothing like this. I wanted to like this brush, I really did. I babied it, I washed it several times (gently) and reshaped it and it still sheds like, hand to god, 35 hairs every time I try to use it on my face. Then, I have to fix my make up because of all the marks it leaves on my fresh makeup trying to pick off these random hairs. I really did give this the best shot possible, I tried it over the course of months and the shedding... it never stops. Maybe I got a bad one, maybe some of them don't shed this bad, but this brush just didn't wow me enough in any way to give it another shot. It floofed out too much when I tried to use it to push in setting powder or to buff in a finishing powder... it's just not a great brush.

I love this fluffy powder brush. I use this for both a light dusting of matifying powder throuhgout the day as well as for applying powder bronzer. This brush makes it easy to build up the bronzer without leaving harsh lines for a soft and natural result. For the money, I felt that the brush was quite soft, didn't feel too rough on the skin, and made it really easy to apply bronzer around the face. I didn't find quality ot be an issue, and did not experience much shedding, if at all.

Use this for foundation application and it's so soft and relaxing to use. You feel like Bob painting pretty pretty. Now all we need is a squirrel on our head. Lol!!

I bought this about a week ago and regret it. This brush sheds like crazy. I washed it for the first time and it already looks frayed. I have other Morphe brushes with these bristles and they're all the same. Stick to the bristles that are black and white. I wish the other bristles had a brush this shape.
