My Lip Savior!

My lips chap easily and when it's cold out even shrivel a little, so I've always been on the hunt for something moisturizing. I also have days where I don't wear makeup, so I wanted something that I could slap on and have some protection. Usually chapsticks only come in SPF15 or SPF20, but when I fo...

Aquaphor SPF 30

I use the regular AP on my lips on a daily basis, and thought it was great that it came out in a SPF 30 version, however , it's consistency is too watery compared to the regular formula and doesn't stay on the lips for long...especially when exercising or at the pool or beach or just spending some t...

I have always been an avid user of another product but gave this one a try. After using daily for a few days my winter lips were Feeling hydrated again. I will be keeping some on hand for the summer.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Just stick with the normal formula if you were thinking about switching. Immediately noticed the consistency is sooo runny and greasy. I didn't even notice any hydration either, it feels like pure sunscreen. I had to wipe it off after awhile because all I kept tasting was sunscreen. There are better options out there that include sunscreen. Love the normal formula though.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Pure sunscreen

It truly tastes like I just put sunscreen in my mouth. If you want the smell and taste of sunscreen then buy this one. I'm glad I got this on sale cause I would never buy this at full price. It works like regular aquaphor but the taste is unbearable for me.

Not good

I heard good things about this brand so I decided to give it a try. I was not impressed. I had it on for about 20-30 minutes and I started noticing my lips and around my mouth starting to itch. My lips were dryer then when I started. For reference I don't have chapped lips just needed some moisture on them.

Stick to the OG Version

The original (non-SPF) version of this is my favorite chapstick. I have very sensitive and dry skin, I keep it by my bedside table and swear by the benefits. This version with the SPF tastes horrendous and there's no avoiding it. The formula is more runny/greasy than the original.
