Most Helpful Positive Review A little messy, a lot of matte! Blur indeed! This powder super mattifies my skin in an instant. It's not *quite* invisible, as it leaves my skin a little noticeably paler, and if I'm not careful, there is a bit of a white residue if not blended very well to take care no excess powder lays on top of the skin.
The container looks great! The packaging all looks very professional and stylish. Love the little hint of orange on the lid.
I have a couple of complaints about the packaging, one would be - there is no sticker seal over the powder, so when it is initially opened after shipping, there is a lot of loose powder just waiting to spill all over. The white seal inside does little to secure the powder when the lid is closed, and each time I open it, it tends to spill and make a bit of a mess.
It does not come with a powder puff, so I tried it with both a puff and a large, fluffy powder brush. Both with similar, good results. I put a powder puff inside the lid which is helping to prevent powder from spilling when opened, so perhaps that might be a helpful addition to the product.
It has a bit of a ricey odor as well, almost reminds me of flour. Maybe a light, natural scent would give the product a more luxurious feel?
Overall, it definitely mattifies shiny skin, works well over several different foundations I've tried it with.
Most Helpful Critical Review Burring Powder I do like the product and for the most part it works. I do see slight creasing in some of my wrinkles and it gives my a "dry" appearance. Other than that I could say that it is a very safe product based on the research I have done on the ingredients. There are less than 10 ingredients and two of them are every day starches which are Corn starch and Rice starch. I think this would work very well to get the shine off the face and finish with a moisturizing setting spray. Thank you for letting me try this product and review it. I hope to try some more products in the future.

Love Honest Beauty products. I purchase them through Ulta because they offer great prices. Would love it if they sold them in stores. This is the only skin care & makeup line I use.
It's okay 4
Sophie from Ny, ny
This stuff is okayyy, not great. It will emphasize any bit of dryness you have unfortunately. Probably best for some with normal or oily skin. Otherwise it's very finely milled and a decent powder overall.
Essential!! 5
Gracie from California
I use this everyday on top of my sunscreen and concealer. Just use a little bit all over with a large fluffy brush. Perfect clean powder, ingredients are great, and comes with a lot of product for the price! Works well with my dry skin!
LOVE, but use a light hand 5
Meg24 from Chicago
This is a very finely milled, "powdery" powder. It will look cakey if you over do it! I have very oily skin with some texture, I use a very light hand - knocking off almost all of the powder so that you can barely see it on the brush. I LOVE how smooth and air brushed this makes my skin look. It doesn't cake or crease in my textured areas, works well over my cream products and keeps me decently matte. I imagine this would not look great on darker skin tones though.
Not for fair skin 1

It was heavy and too dark. Might work for someone with red, oily skin

This powder is VERY soft and finely milled. I wanted to use it on my under eyes to set concealer but unfortunately it made them look very dry/creasy and brought out my fine under eye lines. it's okay for setting the face-there is a strange smell that i can't quite put my finger on. it's almost sweet. but there isn't added fragrance! more of a setting powder than a baking one for sure, and it can feel a bit dry and chalky on my oily skin.
This powder does not mess around 5

If you need an intense setting powder then this is for you! The only powder I use in the summer months since I have super oily skin. I can use it in the winter as well I just use a little less. Really awesome powder and the packaging is my favorite.
It Oxidized 2
cookies from ME
I loved the feel of the powder but it oxidized my undereye concealer. I tried different concealers, different applications and amounts but after 2 weeks I gave up. It was a shame since I really wanted to like this powder.
Not so invisible 3

So I'm sad this powder is not working for me cause I really do like the Honest Co. First off this powder is very very fine and reminds me of the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores powder, and a lot like that powder it changes the shade of my foundation except the Honest one is worse. I seriously look like I have jaundice so I had to play around with the shades of my bronzer and blush to get everything to even out. Second I have dry skin and ALWAYS hydrate my skin really good before applying foundation, but this powder seems to suck out any bit of luminosity out of my face. It's unfortunate because it really is a nice blurring powder with the perfect packaging but I just can't handle how matte and dry it makes my face looks. :(
Gotta play with it! 4
Kathyatz from Albuquerque
I absolutely love the packaging. The actual product is dusty upon application so be careful when you put it on. It does blur and minimize pores which I do love. It's perfect for a natural look. I don't recommend using a wet sponge to apply. Personally I have more tan skin so I don't use it for baking.
My favorite powder! Works for dry skin but... 5

This can definitely work for dry skin. My skin feels like the Mohave desert everytime I cleanse my face. I find that this works best with hydrating/dewy products if you have dry skin because it leaves a natural to matte finish (depending on how much you apply) and blurs imperfections. This paired with my glossier concealer is a dream team. I also enjoy using this with elf hydrating camo concealer, ulta beauty youthful glow concealer, Maybelline age rewind, etc. If you have dry skin and want to use a matte/super full coverage concealer alongside with this, just make sure to use hydrating eye creams before hand. This has become my holy grail and I'm in love! If you have oily skin and prefer natural setting powders, you'd also probably love this.
Perfect for oily skin! 5

First, I am a huge fan of The Honest Company products. I use just about all of them for my family and for cleaning my home. I LOVE the Honest Company's Invisible Blurring Loose Powder. It's perfect for oily skin! My favorite part is the mesh barrier that's located between the lid and the jar that contains the powder. It is awesome and it is used to tap off any excess product from your powder brush! This is a really great feature. I don't think this would be a good product for those who have dry skin though. I have to be very careful when using it that I don't over apply. You will need to make sure that you tap off any excess powder before applying it and be sure to blend it very well! Other than that it's a great product and I'm happy that I tried it! I love the company as a whole and I trust that the formula is great for my sensitive skin! I would definitely recommend trying this product if you have oily skin!
Instant oil control! 5

I have oily skin that's made worse by the hot weather. A dusting of this powder reduces shine all day!
I love that it doesn't make me look powdery or a shy and the a little goes a long way.
Exactly what i was looking for in a setting powder 5
Amanda M from Virginia Beach
This powder sets my undereye concealer all day without creasing. It feels silky and smooth. It does leave a white cast on the face but it goes away pretty fast. This is perfect for the summer when skin tend to be more oily. My skin looks matte and smooth. I've used a lot of setting powders but this one I will definitely repurchase.
Best Packaged Loose Powder 3
ColeWorld from Cockeysville
The packaging of this loose powder was very thought out. It has a netted opening where the powder comes out so too much doesn't pour out at a time, & a snap close top below the screw on lid so you again don't loose too much powder. The powder was a little too light in color for my liking, but maybe it's just the color the translucent is is too light for my complexion.
Great powder 5
MissBeckie426 from Clarksville TN
very soft fine powder. No horrible make up scent that some poqders can have. Went on very well with my skin texture. Doesn't make me look to cakey which is nice.
Ok 3
Jj from CO
It's okay but not sure it gives the amount of coverage. I normally use Clinique and it's pretty close in price range. Think I'll stick to that even tho I prefer clean beauty
so in love 5
Leah from Philly
im absolutely in love with this. ive never had a setting powder perform the miracles this one does. my face is so so smooth, my pores are gone and best yet, it stays put and i havent felt any oil break thru yet. i use physicians formula cc cream and this and thats all i need now. i will never go back to heavy cakey greasy makeup again!!!
Very nice powder 4
Raven from Santa Clarita CA
This powder is extremely fine so when you handle it, you have to be gentle, otherwise it will get everywhere. It applies nicely, gave my face a smooth look, and minimized my pores. My only complaint was that by the end of the day, my face looked a little cakey.
Mattifying, ever so slightly drying 4
Clair from Seattle
This powder is perfect for oily skin. Even though it's lightly tinted, I have not seen it change the colour of my foundation. It did mattify, without appearing completely flat. However, after wearing the powder for 10 hours, my skin felt slightly dry. I used a refresher spray, which solved the problem.
My Daughter likes this Powder 4
AngelMommie from IL
My Daughter likes this Powder because it's the only one that keeps her complexion more natural looking, the way she prefers. The only teeny-tiny downside is that it contains Silica, this can create a bit of dust during use, which means that one needs to not breathe in while applying this powder.
Its good 4
Maria from Fl
It really good in the blurring process for on top of the makeup but its really hard to take most of the remaining powder off. It also did not lighten my face as much as I expected to because I usually use powders to lighten my face.
Best stuff ever 5
Awebster from Missouri
This is my favorite powder I've used. I was an avid user of a different brand, but will not be switching back. It does a great job blurring my imperfections. The smell is good and not talc-y.
Feels like im not wearing any make up at all! 5
Liz from Green Springs
Easy to use.
Great Product 5
Grace from Missouri
Firstly I loved the packaging with the plastic top to keep the powder inside and the netting to get only the necessary amount. This went on very smoothly with a beauty blender and brush. It made my skin look blurred, yet wasn't cakey or too drying. I was concerned because it looked less translucent and with more color but since I am tanner in the summer I didn't have any problem with it. The powder kept my makeup looking a skin like matte for around 5-6 hours which is the perfect time frame in my opinion because my skin is really oily. I also had some dry spots and it didn't cling to any of them. Overall it looked really pretty and lasted which is all that I ask for.
