Fromm Intuition Hot Paddle Brush allows you to blow dry and style at the same time to reduce heat damage and styling time.
I have thick, wavy/curly hair and lots of it. I also color and highlight as well as heat style. I have been looking for ways to minimize the heat damage and decided to just do classic blowouts at home. I am already pretty good with a round brush but wanted something less "flippy".. so after much research I found this. Picked it up at my local Ulta. I used it a few times and it was OK.. not great, just OK. It straightens my hair but nowhere near as my round brush can. I find my hair slides through the bristles too quickly and the brush is not very grippy with my hair. Then I used it on second day hair with my blow dryer..... and OMG! YES! FINALLY!!! I shower in the morning and my hair tends to get a little wet around the crown and back, so I separated into 3 sections and went over each one with the brush and a dryer. The results? Sleek and smooth hair. No more frizzies around the nape area. I am amazed! the paddle gets hot enough to straighten with very little damage. I completely recommend this. If you have thick, curly or wavy hair, long hair.. and want a straighter look, this is a great brush to use. the handle is comfortable and the paddle area large enough for shoulder length or longer hair. It is also great for "rough" drying and then following up with a flat iron or curling iron. It does not pull or rip my hair out, which is a plus as well.
This seemed like a good brush, but after first use with the hair dryer I changed my mind. I could smell the chemicals from the brush and the plastic/silicone like handle left a residue on my hands. This will be going back. Not worth the money. Didn't reduce drying time. Other brushes at the same price point work much better than this!
Okay so I am a hairstylist. I worked in a salon. The salon had this paddle 1906 (I believe from made this brand). Baby I was obsessed. I couldn't believe how easy it is to detangle let alone straighten hair using this hot paddle! So obsessed!

Smooths my curls out great without pulling and hurting I bought a second one just in case lol
I do a good amount of highly textured hair. I took a class recently and the stylist used this brush. Just watching her I was blown away with the results. Then I bought it and I've literally used it on every client no matter the texture. Straight hair more for a rough dry. I think I need to buy 5 more. Lol love love love.
I have fine thin wavy 2b hair so I like to blow it straight sometimes. I got this because a pro YouTuber was using it for all his silk presses on thick Afro hair. it ended up not having near enough tension to smooth out my fine thin hair with blow dry. My hair slipped right through like tiny silk ribbons. Since I have to space out my flat ironings, and was excited to get this brush, I didn't try it right away and didn't consider returning, but I should have. I'll have to find someone with the right hair to give this to.
Very happy with my Fromm paddle brush. I was able to tell the difference in how straight my hair was after blow drying and I was surprised at how soft my hair was afterwards. I also use the Fromm Glosser Intuition Hair Brush and it removes debris and keeps my hair soft.
