Most Helpful Positive Review Surprisingly wonderful
I have very long, fine, super curly hair that I have been blow drying on and off for 20 years. Lately I just been letting it air-dry because I end up with more curl definition that way however because my hair is so long it takes hours and hours to dry. Traditional hair dryers with diffusers can give a bit of volume around the roots but pretty much end up making everything else fuzzy so I only use them if I need to dry my hair quickly or I'm going to be outside when it's below freezing out. When I got this product I was not expecting it to be much different than a traditional diffuser and I'm very happy to be wrong about that. The diffuser attachment looks like many others I've tried but it really does keep the airflow contained within itself in a very different way than anything else I've ever seen. My hair ended up even curlier somehow after using this product and it dried surprisingly quickly. An unexpected benefit is that your scalp doesn't roast like it does with traditional hair dryers. This diffuser and dryer system is a surprise home run and I'm totally buying one for my sister.
Most Helpful Critical Review It gets the job done
Let me start by saying I don't use a blow dryer regularly. I have between type 2c and 3c hair so air drying is the best way for me to keep frizz at bay. However when it dips below freezing I'd rather not leave the house with my hair wet, those are the days I'll blow dry. This dryer touted its new aerodynamic diffuser, so I was eager to see how it would work with my frizz prone hair. I set the dyer on the lowest setting possible and spend a good 5 minutes Using it before I noticed a bit of frizz beginning to appear. This is nothing new for me and it's usually at this point I shut off the dryer and let the rest air dry. So did it cut down on frizz? Not really any better than any other blow dryer with a diffuser I've used. The one thing that got to me was the noise. Even on the lowest level it was loud. I can't imagine what it sounds like at full blast.

One of the best diffusers I've tried. The size and shape help capture the desired amount of curls. Definitely leaves my curls less frizzy than other diffusers.
Thin, Fine Curly Hair = Buy This!!!
Mimi from Greenwood, IN
This dryer, diffuser combination is perfect. I have fine, thin curly hair and have had a hard time finding a dryer that doesn't blow my hair around even while using a big diffuser. This dryer has the magic combination. I use the warm air along with the low airflow and my curls lie inside the diffuser to gently dry. The curls are long-lasting, too. No hairspray on my curls and they are still bouncing at the end of the night.
This works amazing!

Worked great with my curly hair!
Poor bowl design...
COCurly from Colorado
I bought this diffuser to replace my old Conair Infiniti Pro because of the large bowl. On the one hand, it doesn't cause my 2C-3B hair to frizz and defines my curls well, which is great. On the other hand, most of the air blows back through the openings in the bowl. I used it on low speed/medium heat to hover diffuse and the barrel became so hot, it burned my hands! It also took 20 minutes (as opposed to the usual 10) to create the gel cast. I then reduced the heat to low to scrunch and hit the roots. Again, it took twice the time to get my hair to 90% dry and the barrel stayed hot. My curls were nicely defined and mostly frizz free, but my arms were tired and I wasn't able to hold the barrel when drying the back of my head. Mind you, my hair is shoulder length, fine, and fairly low density, so 40 minutes is pretty ridiculous for total drying time, when it normally only takes 20. I get no more frizz with my old Conair (though my curls aren't as defined), so I returned this. Yeah. This was a fail for me. Time to bite the bullet and get a refurbished Dyson...
Worst diffuser I have ever used. Creates frizz.
Sarah from MO
Diffuser is terrible! Air blows out the back if it and creates more frizz. The "low" setting is nowhere near a low setting. It is very high. Hate it.
Terrible design for use on curly hair!

If you do not use a diffuser this dryer is GREAT! I only bought this model since it said it was for curly hair. Well the dryer is strong and blows air good. Issue with the diffuser is the air doesn't come through the diffuser tips so all the pressure of the HOT air blows back on your hand and will actually get to hot for you to hold the dryer. DO NOT RECOMEND IF YOU WANT A GOOD DIFFUSER TYPE DRYER
Too hot and not for long hair
Lara from Tallahassee,FL
This blowdryer get super hot, the entire thing heats up and you can burn yourself. Also my hair is long, almost to my waist and when I use this dryer any hair not in the diffuser gets caught in the fan. Rips and breaks my hair to get it out.
Affordable and good

I think this is an affordable option for people with curly hair that works well for its price.
I like it for my wavy hair, wish buttons were switched
Kim from Augusta, GA
I have only used this dryer with the diffuser so I can't speak to the dryer alone or the concentrator attachment. I have fine, wavy hair that doesn't have a lot of volume unless I blow dry it. Blow drying usually turns my hair to a frizzy, undefined mess. I hoped a diffuser would help with this issue. This dryer with diffuser does a good job of making my waves more defined and voluminous. It doesn't blow my baby hairs around a ton so there are less flyaways than with other dryers I have used. I mostly use the warm and cool temps with low speed after my hair has air dried most of the way. It doesn't make me or my hair too hot.
The diffuser attachment doesn't have holes in the pointy parts like others I have tried, but I don't mind that. I do however wish the speed and temperature buttons were switched in terms of position. I find my thumb rests naturally on the temperature button so I have to move my whole hand down to turn the dryer on and off.

Bought this and had really high hopes but it wouldn't even turn on. Tried different outlets, resetting it, and read all instructions, but nothing.

Honestly, I wanted to like this because you get a lot for the price. but honestly, I have never had such frizzy hair. I thought it was just the climate (I have 2b hair), but when I let my hair air dry this week, I didn't have any frizz at all- and the only thing I changed was air drying instead of difusing.
I would definitely buy this again.

I do not dry my whole head so I am not sure how well it works in that capacity. For the parts I do dry, it works perfectly! I do not care for where the buttons are placed. I change the temp & air flow level without meaning to.
Another great buy from Ulta

I have never used a diffuser and was very hesitant about buying one with so many reviews. Hard to decide between the negative and positive. But I went ahead and got this one. i really didn't want something too expensive in case it didn't work out. This has been overall fantastic. My hair is pretty long and curly. I use Aussie curl cream and after applying and just air drying, i still tend to have a bit of frizz. This diffuser has made a difference so far in minimizing frizz, enhancing volume and giving me neatly styled curls. I did not have any missing items or any issues with the attachments staying on. I also like the fact that it's light weight. I have only used it twice but so far I am very happy with this purchase.

I was so excited for this since the description made it seem so good. The dryer itself is super heavy and the cord is short. Although it seems to work as well as any other same priced dryer. The diffuser attachment is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Most of the air flows out the back and sides so the flow to your hair is weak. There are no holes in the prongs which makes no sense. It takes 3× as long to dry my hair with this than previous diffusers. No thanks!
Ivonne from Puerto Rico
The infiniti pro conair it said 3 piece set and it doesn't come with the concentrator for focused airflow.
Nearly impossible to put diffuser on and take off!
OkieFromMuskogee from Muskogee, OK
It took me 4 minutes to finally attach the diffuser and about 1 minute to take off. I was afraid to was going to break either the diffuser or the dryer itself. Not worth the struggle. This would be a great dryer and would've received more stars if it weren't for this.

I have thin curly/wavy hair. This dryer with the diffuser attachment really helps define my curls!
Sue N from Farmington, Mn
it's only been a month, but so far this is the best dryer I have ever had for my wavy hair! When my old more expensive dryer (which I loved at the time) died after 2 years, I decided to look around. I read all the reviews. This one had mostly positive, but a few unhappy ladies.
I decided to give it a chance and I'm so glad I did! This transformed my hair and brought it back to life.
i think there are two things that will make or break this for you.
1. Product - I use a curling jelly, a wave cream for moisture and a strong gel. This is the first dryer where my hair wasn't crunchy when I was done drying.
2. Hair Type - if there is too much heat coming out, my hair wilts. Having all those openings in the diffuser is what helps my hair. Also having a final cool shot at the end to seal it off. This is the first dryer that I have been able to fully dry my hair with, again I think because of the source of room temperature air mixing in the diffuser.
I definitely recommend!
Awesome hair dryer for wavy hair!
Nancy from San Diego, Ca
Easy to hold while drying your hair. Gentle heat does not blow out your waves and curls.
Brit Mendz from Oxnard, Ca
I brought this with the hope that it would be better than my last "basic" conair blow dryer and diffuser. This specific diffuser is deceiving, I thought the "fingers" would have holes on the tips (you know, for faster drying at the roots...like a normal diffuser...) but it doesn't have that. AND...I lose a lot of air where it connects at the dryer itself. Seems like it not a great seal once it's on and it pops off at least twice once it gets too hot. I will be returning this asap.
Good at first
Sam from North Carolina
This hair dryer was really good at first and then all the sudden it stopped working. It does get very hot and that was no issue at all. I tried the reset button time after time and it still did absolutely nothing. Not worth the money.
Very powerful & easy to use

Very nice! Quicker drying time & soft touch!
Pinkmnm305 from Atlanta, GA
Got this blow dryer hoping it would dry my hair a little faster and wouldn't damage my hair. Unfortunately it still took forever to diffuse my thick curly short hair and left my hair looking dry and frizzy. Had to return it!
Not a great diffuser
Jencurls from Miami, FL
I bought this hair dryer to diffuse and enhance my curls since I hate wet hair. This diffuser does not dry my hair closer to scalp, because it blows air all around it doesn't get deep into my scalp and actually makes my curls look dry and frizzy versus nicely defined. I do not recommend this for longer curly hair below shoulders.
Naturally wavy hair energized!
Posi-vibes from DC
This diffuser is da bomb! My fine hair is bouncy with much less frizz than the standard fingers/frame for a diffuser.
