Preparing the puff is key: press the Velour Puff into the loose powder. Work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together, then tap off any excess on back of hand. Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to "work" the powder in. Focus on the areas where makeup breaks down the most.

Laura Mercier sent me a free sample of the Indulgent Icons Translucent Loose Powder & Velour Puff Duo through the BzzAgent sampling program. I tested the powder over both full-coverage foundation and tinted moisturizer, and found that the fine powder added an amazing blurring effect. I usually use a brush to apply powder products, but the puff gave me more control control. The powder kept shine at bay for eight hours. Highly recommend.

I've been a long time user of the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder and was excited to revisit a classic product! I LOVE that this powder has talc in in still and actually helps give my skin a soft-matte effect while blurring effortlessly. It never looks cakey. In my loose spring powder lineup, this is a great go to and something I would recommend to a friend. The puff is also huge and such a great tool, especially when I'm in a rush and need to get out the door.
