It's expensive chapstick

I love ABH, I totally bought into the matte liquid lip craze, and it was starting to dry me out, so I figured I'd give this a shot. But for the price, it's just a glorified chapstick. Literally just putting Chapstick brand under your lipstick will do the same thing. Don't waste your money.
Dry Lips' Best Friend
Age 30-44
My lips are regularly dry and that has kept me from wearing lipstick, since it magnified how chapped my lips were. This primer fixed it all! It covers up some pretty dry patches and lasts for about six hours before my lipstick starts creasing. Even then, it just looks a little dry. LOVE this primer!!
THE BEST! Hydrates and stops feathering!
Age 45-59
I'd been really struggling with lipstick feathering and traveling outside of my lip line. I've tried a few primers, lip pencils (even "clear" ones) with no improvement. THIS works! It feels great on, doesn't change the color of my lipstick like a lip liner does, and NO feathering or bleeding! I'm back to buy a second tube!
Not for me
It doesn't work for me. My matte lipstick smudges using this. I don't use lip gloss so I can't say about that. But, I think this product intensifies the drying of my lips and it hurts.
A disappointment for intended purpose...
Age 60+
Now I see only liquid lipsticks are suggested, so could be that. First, my lipstick wouldn't even work over the Primer. To be fair it was purchased entirely to eliminate feathering, which it didn't do after I did get some lipstick color to "stick." Although not what I wanted, it may be a good lip conditioner. Time will tell. Off to look for an effective NO feathering product!
