Creamy texture and smells great!

I was gifted this Laura Mercier High Vibe lip product in exchange for my honest opinion by Bzz Agent. I received the color 123 Blaze. I've been wanting to try Laura Mercier products for a while now but couldn't bring myself to pay the price tag as of yet, haha. This color is pretty but I don't parti...cularly like it on myself though. It was darker and more red than expected. The packaging is a sleek, dare I say, rose gold-ish? design. Very modern. I feel you get a decent amount of product as well, especially since you don't need much. The lip product is rounded more like a chapstick so it doesn't have the edges to create sharp lines like actual lipsticks but I wasn't expecting that. The scent is a cake scent which I love! It's my favorite thing about the product actually. I love cake scented anything. Especially in lip products. It goes on very easily as it is very creamy and light. That being said, you don't need much and it's easier to over color your lips and look like a toddler playing in mom's makeup lol. It does sink right into lip lines as most lip products do for me. So if you don't have lip lines, that won't be an issue. It does have slight sparkles in the product but I don't think they show up on the lips very well. The texture stays somewhat creamy once actually on but it's almost a creamy matte texture if that makes sense, still moveable but it does dry ever so slightly. However, I would say expect to reapply because it's not 100% matte so it doesn't come off some. I love the scent and texture but I think I would prefer a more nude color or one closer to my lip shade. Overall, I would recommend this product. Just be aware that it transfers and sinks into lip lines.
