If you have never used one of our peels before we would recommend you start with Sensitive Strength and build up to the Full Strength. We always suggest a patch test behind the ear area before applying to the entire face as this is a very active product with the alpha and beta hydroxy acids. We suggest a patch test behind ear for 15 minutes if you are new to using it. Since this product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) we do not recommend it for those with sensitive skin or rosacea. After cleansing with the Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE® Brightening Gel Cleanser, in the evening, apply a generous layer to entire face, neck & décolleté, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes. (Flushing and tingling are normal.) Rinse well. Follow with GREEN APPLE® Age Defy Serum and GREEN APPLE® Age Defy Moisturizer. What color should the product be? When I opened my newly purchased jar, it appeared light brown and had a slight odor that was NOT citrusy/fruity. Do any of the ingredients oxidize overtime and become inactive? Did I get a bad batch? Also, When I put the mask on, I did not notice anything different (no burning, no redness). However, 1- 2 days later, It feels as if I have a sunburn on my face, but not much redness. Is this normal?

We do not use any artificial dyes of synthetic fragrances in our products, so the color of the peel should be a gold-ish brown color similar to the color of apple juice. Since there are no synthetic fragrances in any of our products and no essential oils in the Green Apple Peel, the smell is just the smell of the organic apple and other juices in the product. The Green Apple Peel is meant to be used at night time only and it is normal for some mild redness and tingling to occur. This is a Spa Grade peel and is not recommend for those with sensitive skin or rosacea due to the alpha/beta hydroxy fruit acids. If you have never used one of our Green Apple Peels before a mild, tingling sensation and slight redness are normal. We suggest a patch test behind ear for 15 minutes. If no irritation develops, resume application. After cleansing in the evening, apply a generous layer to entire face, neck & decollete, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes. It burns bad💔not for sensitive skin
I have sensitive skin but not that bad my skin can handle certain creams or serums that are "strong" but ohhhh boy this peel was sum else😭 its my first time trying this item i didnt think it was going to burn so bad 🥲ive never had this problem with any other masks 💔 it recommends to leave it on for 10 min i had it on for TWO MIN i instantly took it off and my face was RED AND IT GOT PUMPS😭💔 i kept rising my face with cold water and put on moisturizer 🥲it still tingles its been 15 min already😭

Weird smell, temporary red skin, but great results
I got this as a sample in the advent calender last year. I used for the first time with steam in the shower, and boy howdy, did my face tingle. When I got out of the shower, I was shocked at my red face! I thought I had really messed up. However, the red went away after like an hour or two. The results were great! My only complaint is that it smelled a little weird like apple cider vinegar or something. Not horrible just not delicious like an apple. My only other complaint is thst my local store doesn't carry it. I went to buy it and I have to order it. I wanted the instant gratification.
Love this mask
I've used a lot of masks, exfoliators, scrubs, etc., for acne, dull uneven skin tone, dead skin cells,, etc This is the best of the best. It exfoliates, leaves my skin feeling soft, my skin looks clear, & bright, it removes dry dead skin cells, leaving my skin looking like I've just slept 8+ hours.
