Place the angled edge of the tapered brush at the temple (the angle of the brush should follow the face shape).
Sweep down the top cheek bone, onto the cheek and back upward above the brow creating a crescent shape ("C" & backwards "C" on each side) for a glowing blush, blend onto the cheeks.
If desired, apply to any other high points of the face that you want a fresh glow - brow bone, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow.

Beautiful Glow!
I'll start by saying I am not usually a blush person. I bought this on a whim because I love bareMinerals products. I was a little nervous that I picked the wrong color; I ordered mauve glow and it's the most pigmented out of them all. For reference, I am a medium skin tone. I brushed it on and the glow was amazing! I swiped once more over the same area to build up the color and it turned out a rosy warm pink, almost like you got some sun. I have to say I'm impressed. I will definitely wear blush more often with this product!

Mauve is a Red Orange
I was so excited about trying this blush. The picture in the ad is beautiful. I wanted a glowy blush. This is supposed to be mauve. When i took this out of the box it looked like a bronzy orange with specs of mauve. I tried it on and on my fair cool undertone skin it turned red/orange. Nowhere near mauve. Orange does not look good on me at all. I wanted what was advertised. Unfortunately, I will need to return this.
