Most Helpful Positive Review Great but stay away if oily! I was looking for an SPF spray that was touch-free application and non comedogenic. The yellow Ulta SPF spray does have pore clogging ingredients but this one doesn't (yay!). This leaves your skin dewy but you might not like it if you're oily. Also does smell like mint, so don't open your eyes/mouth right away after spraying. I have normal skin and I love this stuff mainly because I don't have to touch my face to apply it and reapply it.
Most Helpful Critical Review Reaction before I even got home I sprayed this on as I left the store and less than half an hour later my face was hot and red. The smell is so strong and the spearmint oil is incredibly overpowering. My face is still stinging and burning. I take very good care of my skin. I almost never have continuous sun exposure and wear facial sunscreen every time I leave house. Skin care is something I don't take lightly and preventative care like sunscreens is high priority. I was looking for a good sunscreen booster for over makeup - this is not it. I HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE avoid this product regardless of skin type. These ingredients are not formulated well and spearmint oil is not a good facial ingredient. I didn't want to splurge and thought this cheaper product was the way to go - it was not. I will be returning this product first thing tomorrow and I will be spending out on a high quality over make-up SPF.

Works good and is great to carry with you. Easy to apply just does not smell great.
No sunburns, at least 1

Leaves an incredibly sticky residue on skin and made my eyes burn so bad that I couldn't even keep my contacts in. Think I'll stick with cream sunscreens where you have more control of the application. Wanted to use this throughout the day.
This is not for you if you are a crier 3

I bought this product to spray on over my makeup- great for brunch with the girls. Not great if you are under a lot of stress at work and cry. The product has a very chemical smell and when you cry, it gets in your eyes and stings them.
Meh 2

I really liked the smell. It was minty and with my mask I think it smelled great. However, it did NOTHING for staying power. Did not extend my makeup wear or stop it from transferring to my mask. Lastly, the pumps clog because it's so thick. I bought two because it was bogo 1/2 off and they both eventually clogged making them impossible to use. The only thing I did like was the smell lol and everyone hated that.
The smell is HORRIBLE! 1

I wanted to this product for extra SPF protection throughout the day when I am out and about. I live a sunny climate and am constantly exposed to the sun. I was so excited to start using this, but literally couldn't because the smell was awful and lingered way to long. Im so disappointed.
Awful Smell 3

If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't know how well that it works. However, I do know it smells like pickles.
Greasy 2
RedShark42 from Virginia
It left my face looking greasy and feeling slimy. Most setting sprays are lightweight and dry quickly and I'm unable to tell I used it, but this spay didn't really dry, it just....stayed there. I ended up patting it dry. But the greasy sheen remain, as did the feeling of my face being slimy all dayn.
The smell wasn't great but it was overpowered by the unfortunate texture. I really wanted to like this product but I ended up being really disappointed.
I felt like i maced myself 3

after I finished my make up. I sprayed and even though my eyes were shut, it got in my eyes and I instantly started to tear up. my eye makeup running all down my face from the tears. my eyes still hurt here at work. not to mention as i sat there in pain I cam feel the thickness of grease from this spray on my face. I never used such a bad spray before. i will be returning for a different spray. I ended up wiping all my eye make up Off, plopped on some lashes and rushed out the door. so much for a nice eye look today .
best spf setting spray i've tried 5

This setting spray is excellent for SPF reapplication! It is matte and does not smell terrible like most of these kinds of products do.
I will not get this again But is not a bad product 4

The product is good but it leaves the skin too shiny for my liking .
You can SMELL the alcohol 3
Destiny from San Antonio, TX
I work outside and because my job requires masks I use this as a quick sunscreen method and get back to business. It does the job for a oily skinned girl like me but dear god, you can SMELL the chemicals and alcohol. Please don't use alcohol on your face daily!!

I wish I had read the comments before my purchase. I figured since I had used other Ulta setting sprays (Wanna Be Free and Wanna Be Fresh) there wouldn't be any issue. After just one spray and I couldn't get past the smell. Many reviews mention spearmint, but I sure didn't smell that. I thought there was a strong chemical smell. Then wearing a mask with it was really bad. Good thing I have "back up" make up at work. I had to go wash my face and reapply foundation, etc, because I couldn't stand it any longer. I like the thought of the SPF, but this just didn't work for me.

I love the regular setting spray from Ulta in the gray bottle. Wanted to try this to get SPF benefits. It's very greasy, oily and sits on the skin. Also if you must over your entire face an any goes near your eyes it's stings awful. That didn't happen when misted the same way with the wanna be free version from Ulta.
Not bad not great… ok 3

Just bought this yesterday. I'm between light and medium complexion, 35, with oily skin. I used this spf today before I went to run a couple errands. I sprayed it on top of my Philosophy moisturizer spf 30. It definitely gave me a very glossy look. Most people are saying it's oily, but you can always apply it and wait a couple mins, and then blot it. I just took the palm of my hand and pressed it into my skin. I love that it sprays out evenly! I applied it on clean skin, meaning no makeup before or after so I can't say how that would work, but as far as no makeup it's okay. I am experiencing a slight burning sensation in my eyes after about 5 hrs of wearing. So that's a down side. But I love the fresh glossy look it gives.
Just sits on my skin and greasy 1

This sunscreen does not blend into my skin and just made a greasy sheen on top. I had to pat it in with a Beaty blender to get it to look semi nice on my skin.

Warnings on Bottle Contradict Use 1

I never liked this. From the start it was a bad experience. When I sprayed it on my face I thought "wow this smells like chemicals." I then looked at the back of the bottle where it says "keep away from face to avoid breathing it." I'm sorry did I not just buy a setting spray FOR MY FACE…how is this legal?
Hated it 3

The spearmint is not a good idea. I used this before applying my makeup then put a setting powder to help with the oiliness it makes. But that spearmint burned my eyes all day. Going to return and try the Rosewater with SPF instead.
Very oily 2
momoneyy from Cali
Don't get this if you have oily skin. It's oily because I sprayed this after my makeup obviously & I wear eyelashes & it's so oily that my eyelashes didn't stick anymore! They literally came off. It also does give a dewy look which I like. I had to use my makeup sponge & try to either soak or press in the setting spray so it does not look oily. I'm glad I got this on sale. I don't think I would repurchase this. It might work with other people though.
Okay… not the greatest. 3
Shaina from Hawaii
Very strong mint smell. Try not to breathe it in right after spraying (which it does say in the directions). The first few times I've used it, it got into my eyes after maybe 30mins-hour of application which made it burn. Definitely has a dewy finish. Have not yet tried to use it when directly in the sun or under makeup yet

I hate it 2

I was excited to have something to recharge the sunscreen after makeup especially in Texas with all of it's sun but this product makes you face look extra shiny and feel greasy. It also smells bad. I only sprayed a little bit on my face and knew I hated it. I guess I'll use the rest to spray my arms and legs instead.
The smell!!! 1

I could not even wear it a full day , the spearmint is sooo strong my eyes hurts and my head hurt the moment I sprayed it on.
