Best Clarifying Treatment.
I have 3c to 4a hair. I completly cut my hair to a pixie cut (shoulder length before) due to hair loss from a major surgery I have done. I have been using Shea Moisture since my first chop (7 years) but recently it made my hair drier than usual and more tangled. I was looking through Ulta for a diff...

I wanted to love this but I am left concerned
I turned to this after experiencing problems with another popular curly hair brand. I've been using this for about a month now (washing once a week). The smell of the first two steps is really nice. The third step is minty and leaves almost a 'cooling' sensation which is uncomfortable if left on too...

It feels really harsh for

It feels really harsh for my hair. Definitely a detox but could only use it once every couple months.
My favorite Shampoo combo

This is my second purchase of these products, I actually can't wait to wash my hair. These products have changed my dreaded wash days to enjoyable was days
I think I needed to pre wash
Reviewed at
I'm not 100% sure on this quite yet, I've only used once. I didn't get the hair squeak when rinsing that I usually get. I think I need to pre wash with a back up shampoo and then use the detox products. I detox the first wash of every month. I absolutely loved the tingle!
My favorite of the three
Reviewed at
My favorite of the three is the conditioner, it smells like tea tree oil and gives spa vibes, it's also moisturizing and makes my hair feel nice. I'm not a fan of the other two products. The primer makes my hair feel coated in grease and it doesn't wash out with the scrub shampoo, you need another shampoo to get rid of it. The scrub part does work but it's not for me, I prefer to use a silicone scalp scrub brush with my other shampoo. Currently using the anti frizz by the same brand which I enjoy. I wish they made a calming shampoo with a tee tree oil or eucalyptus scent to pair with the calming conditioner. The scrub is unscented and smells vaguely clay like, the primer is a subtle fruity scent, so the whole line scent wise doesn't really go together.
Curl Smith is worth trying

I am still learning to use the styling products and appreciate the tutorials. Also, customer service gets back to me rather quickly.
