Noticeably smoother feeling the next morning**I received this product for free from Influenster (VoxBox) in exchange for an honest review.** I've been using this product for about two weeks now (nearly every day but not quite). I tried it both after using my favorite toner (Lancome Tonique) as well as on its own after cleansing (I wanted to see if the effects were distinguishable). It wasn't a mind-altering difference, but I imagine that with any serum, it's at least marginally more effective after toner application. The main thing that I noticed is that my skin felt incredibly smooth the morning after - solidly supporting the claims of "smoother after 4 hours". The next claim is firmer-looking after 10 days, which was a bit more difficult for me to judge since I wouldn't say that my skin has lost a significant amount of elasticity [yet]. (For full disclosure, I get monthly facials at a medispa.) Interestingly, a couple of reviewers have mentioned a very strong fragrance. I have a very sensitive nose, but find the fragrance to be fairly mild and pleasant in a nostalgic way. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it smells like beauty products that I smelled when I was a child/teenager - like a mix between baby lotion, floral notes, and sunblock. In any case, I personally find the fragrance gentle and pleasant. If you have skin texture or elasticity concerns, this product should improve some of those issues - but as with any product, YMMV. And remember that nothing beats being preventative and hydrating well by drinking enough water!Dior Capture Totale Le Serum ReviewFirst off I want to talk about my skin type. I used to suffer from adult acne which left my some nasty acne scars. I since been working on getting rid of them and have been pretty successful but of course it takes time. You can see in my video I still have scars. I do have some texture and my skin type is kind of a mix of combo/normal, which I know is weird but I only get oily on my t-zone after a very long day otherwise I'm usually normal if I put moisturizer and dry rarely. So when I got the Dior serum to try out, I was pretty excited because it's. Dior LOL. On the card they sent, it claims the serum will give hydrating, plumping and firmness and reduced wrinkles to the face in 4 hours (based on a trail where 55% experienced this). After a week skin appears firmer with radiance and in 30 days, reduced look of unevenness and loss of elasticity. I've used this serum for about 3 weeks now and I haven't seen any of those claims honestly. The serum itself is pleasant. It has a nice luxurious feel and smells like perfume but not over powering in my opinion. I don't have wrinkles but I do have unevenness in color and some texture and I was focusing on any hyperpigmentation on my skin. My skin never felt firmer or radiant or plump. When it comes to hydration, I didn't feel hydrated like how a nice moisturizer would feel but it didn't make me feel dry either, it just felt like a serum on your face. Maybe I wasn't the right candidate but I would expect atleast some radiance. I used Peter Thomas Roth a Vit C serum and I LOVE that serum and won't change it unless I find something better. For me, this Dior serum didn't do much for my skin concerns. I'll continue to use to see if I see a change after the bottle is finished.

This serum was an easy addition to my routine. It has a soft scent and leaves my skin looking and feeling hydrated. The sleek bottle looks cute on my makeup counter.

I have used this at night with my moisturizing routine and in the morning with my skincare routine under makeup. It give a nice glow and I can still tell the glow Is there under makeup. I am not sure I have really seen a "plumping" effect but I do like the way it makes me skin look. It is quite strongly scented but I do not mind it.

Overall, I really like this serum. I've been using it morning and night for about a month and I feel like my skin looks really good. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the scent. It is very strong. Aside from that I really like it!

Caused me to break out

I could see a slight difference in my skin- however this product caused me to break out. Just small whiteheads. When I discontinued use and went back to my regular regime the whiteheads disappeared. If you have sensitive skin this product is not for you.
