I bought another brands brush set for $30. It came with 12 brushes. I love this brand so I was stoked to get them but they disappointed due to the fact that the bristles on the brushes kept poking my eye for some reason so it just made applying eyeshadow painful. I would end up tearing up, causing my eyes to water and ruin my mascara anyways. These were almost half the price and they're SO soft. Again, colourpop delivers!
The reviews for this set were really good so I ended up purchasing this in store. I will definitely be returning them. They felt soft at first but when I actually used them to apply blush it felt like I was being poked in the eye. I really wanted to love them because I really like the color and the holder but they are just not for me.

I've never tried Colourpop brushes and this is a great surprise. All brushes are useful to me even though I have small lid spaces. The bristles are pretty soft and have never irritated my eyes, which is important to me since I have sensitive and watery eyes. I would say this set of brushes is the best affordable brushes I've tried (compared to BH cosmetics, Morphe, and Luxie) and is definitely worth the money!
