Q
Is it ok to leave the shampoo on for 3-5 minutes? I either used too much or left on too long, because with my second use, my hair got lighter!

Hi there, Thanks for the questions. Our Brunette Booster Shampoo can be used as your regular range if your hair is particularly brassy or if you prefer a much cooler-toned colour. Typically we recommend using the Shampoo as you would your regular shampoo leaving in for a couple minutes before rinsing out, if you were after a cooler tone you can leave this product in for up to five minutes. The great thing is the toning of lightening the tone of your hair, and removing brassy tones is temporary. For your next wash simply the amount of time you allow the Shampoo to sit in your hair before washing out. Take care! Was this answer helpful to you

It didn't work well on my thick, long, brunette hair

My hair is very thick, long and brown. I tried Bondi Boost Brunette Booster Color Depositing Blue Shampoo and kinda stained my hair blue for quite a bit (i could see the blue in my nails for hours). The smell of the shampoo was good and the color is fun, i was expecting my hair to get more benefits ...

This shampoo is definitely not your normal shampoo. It is dyed extremely blue so it might stain. It doesn't have a strong smell either so if you do not mind that you might really like this product.

I recently tried the Bondi Boost Brunette Booster Color Depositing Blue Shampoo, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. As a brunette who battles with brassy tones, this shampoo has become a game-changer in my hair care routine. **Packaging and Scent:** The packaging is sleek and practical, with a pump dispenser that makes it easy to use in the shower. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, providing a refreshing experience every time I wash my hair. **Performance:** What stands out the most is its effectiveness in neutralizing unwanted brassy tones. The blue pigments work wonders in counteracting the orange and red hues that can make brunette hair look dull and lifeless. After just a few washes, I noticed a significant improvement in the richness and vibrancy of my hair color. It brought back a deep, cool-toned brunette shade that looks natural and healthy. **Ingredients and Benefits:** The formula is enriched with nourishing ingredients like argan oil and vitamin B5, which help to keep my hair hydrated and smooth. Unlike other color-depositing shampoos, it doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or brittle. Instead, it adds a beautiful shine and makes my hair feel soft to the touch. **Application:** I found it easy to incorporate into my routine. I use it once or twice a week, leaving it on for about 3-5 minutes before rinsing. It doesn't stain my hands or shower, which is a huge plus. However, I recommend wearing gloves if you're concerned about any temporary blue tint on your skin. **Overall Impression:** Bondi Boost Brunette Booster Color Depositing Blue Shampoo is an excellent choice for brunettes looking to maintain a cool-toned, vibrant hair color. It's effective, nourishing, and user-friendly. While it is a bit pricier than regular shampoos, the results are well worth it. I highly recommend this product to anyone struggling with brassy tones in their brunette hair.

Brunette Booster!

I love that this brand is making color depositing products! I am a brunette prone to brassy hues and I'm consistently looking for a way to get rid of it. I've been using this for a couple of weeks and noticing a change. The only thing I don't love is the dyed-like feel of my hair after washing— that almost slimey texture that sometimes comes with box dyes. Luckily it goes away once I condition so no big deal. I tried this in exchange for my honest review.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I have been using this shampoo in combination with the conditioner for a couple months. This has absolutely dried my hair out and made it so frail! DO NOT USE!!
