I have short dark blonde hair (level 8) that I highlight (bleach to level 10) and then add professional demi-permanent toners (level 9s). For years I have been struggling to get rid of the gold/brassy color in my highlights, as I have natural red highlights in my hair. I use ash and violet toners, but still my hair is gold. I just highlighted my hair yesterday and decided to use the IGK blonde Pop product line, including this Blonde Pop Shampoo, instead of using any typical toners. I have used purple shampoos in the past, but saw no improvement. I could not believe how great this shampoo works. I have NO gold/brass in my highlights and I finally got the champaign blonde color that I have been trying to get for years. I was surprised how thick the shampoo is, and with my short hair I only needed a small amount. It creates such a nice thick lather and smells nice too. I let it sit in my hair for about 5 minutes and then rinsed it out. I will NEVER use toner on my hair again, which means less chemical damage to my hair. From now on I will be using IGK Blonde Pop Shampoo and the rest of the blonde Pop product line. Thank you.No noticeable difference and possibly drying#freeproduct #trywithtopbox I haven't noticed a meaningful difference in the tone of my blonde highlights since using this shampoo, and I think it might be drying my hair out, so I would not recommend it. I have naturally very dark brown hair with several years of blonde highlights mixed in, so brassiness and yellow/hay-colored blonde is a major issue for me. I've been using Redken purple shampoo/conditioner for about a year and when I switched to the IGK combo, I found that my hair was drier and more tangled than usual, and without any meaningful change (better or worse) in the tone of my blonde highlights. Since changing back to my old conditioner while continuing to use this IGK shampoo (it does have a nice, thick lather that I like), the issue with dryness and tangles resolved, but still no major color changes. I'm not super sensitive, but I didn't have any issues with the scent of the shampoo, no scalp irritation, etc. So overall I haven't noticed any major issues with the shampoo specifically, but I also haven't noticed any benefits. I'll be passing on this product in the future.

Love this but in moderation

I received this #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox IGK Blonde Pop shampoo is a beautiful dark purple shampoo that lathers really well. Most of us using a product like this aren't natural blondes I wouldn't use it every time I shower, I would not recommend using every day as it is strong and will leave purple tones in your hair. However I leave it on for 20 minutes, before using purple conditioner, and it helps to hydrate and detangle. It does feel dry right after the was but pairing conditioner fixes it. Makes my hair very soft and shiny. and would use it once a week depending on how long it's been since I colored my hair. I love running my fingers through my hair after using this shampoo, because my hair feels silky smooth and soft. It gives my hair a nice glistening sheen to it and has a great scent. Great Shampoo!

I was happy to receive this full sized #freeproduct from Top Box Circle in exchange for my honest review. I am a natural blonde with dry thin hair. I used the purple shampoo for several weeks and found it to be wonderful. It made my hair shiny and soft and gave it the boost that it needed. I love how clean it made my hair feel. I didn't have any problem with it drying my hair out, unlike other shampoos that I have used. My hair looks and feels healthier than it has in a long time. I highly recommend.

Tones Okay, but Dries Out Hair

I have been using purple toning shampoos for years. I was excited to try this #freeproduct as part of the #trywithtopbox program because I love IGK products. The shampoo tones decently well, but not as well as my holy grail Fanola No Yellow shampoo. It smells amazing, but it is rather drying- even when used with the blonde pop conditioner. I think I will stick to my old faves instead of switching to this new product.
