The ideal face wash?!
I purchased this on a whim. I'd been using a different mid-range face wash and it was okay but I never felt like it fully cleaned my skin so I was on the lookout for something different. I had read something about RoC a few days prior and decided to give it a try. I think this just might be the face wash for me! I feel like my skin is clean *and* it has noticeably softened. It does not take much product to achieve the just-right amount of lather and face coverage to thoroughly clean my face. Now, my skin does feel just a bit tight and dry after I'm out of the shower, but I just apply my Roc Vitamin C serum and if necessary a touch of hyaluronic acid serum and I'm good to go. This is my PM routine: Remove makeup Shower/wash face Apply RoC Vitamin C serum (sometimes adding a little hyaluronic acid serum from The Ordinary to the driest spots) Before bed apply RoC Retinol Correxion Line Smoothing Max Hydration Cream & sometimes add RoC Retinol Line Smoothing Anti Wrinkle for Dark Circles Eye Cream. AM routine: Wash w/RoC cleanser Apply RoC Vitamin C serum to face and target under-eye area with hyaluronic acid serum from The Ordinary Apply RoC Multi Correxion Hyaluronic Acid Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 Apply primer & makeup I have been following this routine for 5 days so far. My skin does look brighter & I notice it seems a little firmer in some areas. Above all, it's quite soft and the flakes of skin on my nose that were there no matter what I tried are finally gone! I will definitely keep up with the RoC products!
Not For Sensitive Skin
This cleanser is marketed as gentle for all skin types, but I think it would only work if you have very oily skin. This cleanser made my skin extremely dry and flaky and made my skin itch. The second ingredient (Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate) is a harsh cleaning agent. If I would have continued to use it, I think it would have actually damaged my skin barrier rather than heal it. Definitely look elsewhere if you are looking for a gentle formula for sensitive skin.

Solid choice!
I needed more cleanser, wanted to try something new, and this was on sale,lol. What I'm always looking for is something gentle because my skin gets dry easily, but that also feels like it's actually cleansing my skin. This cleanser performs really well! A little goes a long way, it feels rich, and my skin feels great after using it. I'm happy I found it!
