Truly hydrating lotion.I wasn't sure what to expect from this body lotion. Was the price tag really worth it? Well, I think it is. This lotion's formula is one of the best I've ever tried. My body is not EXTREMELY dry, but I definitely have areas that need extra attention. More specifically, as I suspect it is with almost everyone else, post shaved areas need extra love. My legs and arms can get really irritated and extra dry after shaving. I always struggle with using different products to try to keep my skin from getting extra irritated. And I found this lotion to actually make a difference. I was very pleasantly surprised with how well it hydrates the skin. And how much it helped with the itchiness and irritation. The difference was how often I had to reapply cream. With most other body lotions, I have to reapply hours later if I want to try to keep itchiness at bay. It was something I found to be unnecessary with this lotion. My skin would stay soothed for hours. Longer than almost any other product I've tried. The lack of discomfort was such that I noticed the difference right away. This really impressed me. Furthermore, the texture is really great as well. Usually with more hydrating creams you might get a much thicker consistency. Not this one. This lotion is very lightweight. And it absorbs quickly into the skin. That's another big plus for me. If there was a negative for me, besides the price, it was the scent. The jasmine scent on this lotion can be too much. It is very perfumy and musky. And although I wouldn't exactly say it's a bad scent. I would say it can be overpowering. At least personally speaking, I'm sensitive to smells. So for me this scent in particular was a bit too strong. Even worse, it lingered for a long time. Now, depending on your personal preferences, that might be a good or bad thing for you. But the scent will compete with other things. So, for example, when I applied this lotion I couldn't apply perfume. The fragrances competed with each other and it would be too much. If I were to try any more of the Philosophy body emulsions I wouldn't choose this scent again. Now, as for this being a firming lotion, I'm not quite sure. I haven't seen any noticeable changes. But it does definitely leave the skin feeling very smooth, and as I already said, very hydrated. So, if you can afford it give it a try. This is for sure a great lotion. But keep in mind your preferences when it comes to fragrance, you might want to try another scent.smells divine, doesn't solve my drynessI love the idea of a lighter lotion for summertime. The Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion is such a nice, light, heavenly-scented lotion for hot and humid days. I don't feel as swampy with this as I get with regular heavier creams and lotions on hot wet days. Jasmine is my JAM, and this is a lovely take on jasmine. Perfect for cool summer evenings. That said, the pump initially didn't work for me. I had to aggressively go at it after sadly looking at it for a couple days. At first, the lotion would only come up through the neck of the bottle instead of out the dispenser. Like, I had to get rough with it, set it on the floor, and furiously pump it for thirty or more seconds. I wonder how many would dismiss this as receiving a broken or faulty pump. After trying it for quite a while (received complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review), I've concluded that it isn't moisturizing enough for me. I need something heavier like Philosophy's regular lotions to tackle the dryness of my carapace. I still use and like it, but I need to supplement with thicker cremes. Maybe it would work really well for using in the mornings compared to how I use it mainly at night.

I love this lotion, it makes my skin feel soft and healthy, it's very affordable and effective and it keeps my skin soft!!

Expect Broken Pumps, add 2 Months to Shipping Time

I ordered three firming body emulsions in January (amazing grace jasmine, amazing grace ballet rose and amazing grace magnolia) two of the three pumps were broken. All in all, it two an extra two months to get pumps that worked. And, after all of that the grace jasmine smells a little like sunscreen.

Wonderful everyday scent. Great for layering
