- Intelligent heat control: Measures airflow temperature over 40 times a second, intelligently controlling the heating element to prevent heat damage.
- Negative ions: Charged particles in the airflow help reduce static in the hair
- Airflow speed - Three precise airflow speeds to suit your styling preference
- Temperature control - Three precise heat settings
- Cold shot - Immediately deactivates the heating element for cooler air to set your style

To Curl: For best results, start with freshly washed hair. Use the Coanda smoothing dryer to take hair from damp to about 80% dry.
- Use the 1.2" barrel for a defined curl.
- Use the Firm or Soft smoothing brush to smooth hair if needed before curling.
- Using high heat and high airflow, allow air to wrap damp hair tress around the barrel. When hair is dry, use a cold shot to set the style. Turn machine off before removing from hair.
To Diffuse Curls: For best results, start with freshly washed hair. Add styling product for hold and scrunch ends of hair to define curl formation.
-Attach the Diffuser and set your Dyson Airwrap™ to medium speed, medium heat.
-Flip hair upside down. Place ends of hair in the Diffuser and dry from ends to mid-sections, working in small sections towards the roots.
-Set your Dyson Airwrap™ to medium speed, low heat. Apply cold air around the head to set curls.
To Lengthen Textured Hair: For best results, start with freshly washed hair. Add your favorite styling product.
-Attach the Wide-tooth comb and set your Dyson Airwrap™ to high speed, high heat.

Game changer
It's a game changer. The airwrap is magic. Have literally never kept wave or curls in my hair before. They stay for 4 days!

Great until it stopped working.
I bought this at Christmas and it has stopped working. Res light death spiral.

I don't know why I waited so long
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I've been debating buying this product for the longest time and now can't believe I didn't make the plunge years ago. There is definitely a learning curve to it, and I still have a lot to learn, but I'm having a blast learning and using it and my hair is reaping the benefits of less heat in my routine. Absolutely love this air wrap.
need the bigger barrel
I actually like this product but it doesn't come with the larger barrel! this wasn't clear to me when I bought it. Too expensive to not have that.
Love, but slightly disappointed
I got this as an early Christmas present and had to open it instantly. The dryer is quick and the barrels leave great curls! Unfortunately the 2 smoothing brush attachments don't fit all the way in the dryer. Not sure if this is normal or I got a defected product…I'll be calling customer service on Monday.
Not worth it.
I've had my airwrap for about a year now, and it's taken that long to decide how I feel about it. On the performance side, it's fine but limited. The curl wands are the best part, though the thin one is useless for thick hair so it collects dust. The thick wand works well but takes a long time, much longer than a dryer brush or the old fashioned blowdryer and round brush method, even on 90% dry hair. But the results are nice. It has a serious learning curve, you have to figure out the perfect conditions for YOUR hair - dampness level, to alternate or not alternate barrel directions, section size - to get your desired shape and volume. You have to be willing to invest the time to figure it out before you see any value. For me that took about 20 uses. The curl brush attachment is too small for my hair, so… it collects dust. I absolutely hate the paddle brush, as it doesnt get close enough to my roots and offers no assistance for keeping hair smooth and tangle-free while drying. Brushes have wax nubs on the ends and/or boar bristles between the plastic bristles for a reason. This paddle, having none if that, is a torture device. I lose SO much hair when I use it, and I don't get a good result aesthetically, so… it collects dust. The dryer/smoother attachment… you guessed it, collects dust. I don't feel like I have enough control when I use it, my hair gets super whipped and tangled. So, of all the attachments included in this extremely expensive set, only ONE of them is useful to me. The value just isn't there. From a practicality standpoint, the fact that it's not travel friendly really bugs me. No one's lugging that big ol box around with them, and even if you're traveling with just the base and one attachment, it's a no-go. The cord is too bulky to wrap, so it doesn't pack nicely. The worst offense is that the device isn't dual voltage, so you can never use it outside your region! At this price, and considering how many devices are dual voltage nowadays, that's absurd. Overall, I would say this device is absolutely not worth the price. If you have thick long hair, you may only get use out of one or two attachments. For a device that justifies its hefty price by being an "all-in-one" styler, I find myself using a lot of separate devices to fill its gaps… drying, straightening and traveling. Dyson's got work to do.
Compliments, compliments, compliments!
I wanted to write a positive review after seeing all the bad ones. From the moment I started using the Dyson Airwrap, people have been commenting (even men) and women asking about my hair routine, products I use, hair stylist, etc! My hair has never looked better or gotten this much attention before and I owe it to this styling tool. Yes, the curls relax after awhile so if want a beautiful "voluminous blowout" look, this will achieve it. If you're looking for tighter curls you will be highly disappointed and should use a different tool for that - curling iron or wand.
