I am not exagerating when I say I say a difference a few days after I started using this for the acne on my back. After a few days I also started using the Murad Acne Body Spray and this is a perfect combination! It definitely treats and gets rid of the acne. I really recommend. Also, if you follow it with a tea tree body wash, it will help with the redness and inflamation.
I have back acne and I don't think this was worth the money. I bought this and the clarifying spray by murad. I think the spray works but this isn't necessary. A substitution that I recommend is the neutrogena pink grapefruit exfoliating scrub (which may be too harsh for some skin types but is alright for me).

It works alright, but I feel benzyl peroxide works better for me for body acne. Will continue using and perhaps change my mind at the end before needing to repurchase next bottle.

Used daily to treat my shoulder acne after spending hundreds of dollars on products/"back" facials. After keeping it simple with just this product + moisturizer, my skin is clear. This is a true miracle product that doesn't dry out your skin. I will continue to buy this again and again!!!

I've been using this product for about three weeks. At first, I noticed my acne getting a lot better pretty fast. I was so overjoyed and excited. however, over time I saw it going back to how it was before (potentially even a little worse). The acne was painful and red and all over. I saw someone say something about there being a purging period so I thought I'd stick it out. I've had acne like this for at least five years so I figured what did I have to lose? now my acne is back to how it was before, potentially a little better. I only use it on my problem areas so the wash isn't really being burnt through quickly. I'm going to use the product to the end because I paid for it and I'm hoping that it works again and that my skin just needed to get used to it. It does have salicylic acid, which is a good acne treatment so who knows. I also heard people saying it works better with the body spray as a combination tactic but it was sold out when I went to buy the body wash so maybe that's where I am going wrong. Either way, I wouldn't recommend this product just yet, as it didn't do much for me (especially for the price) but I could see it potentially working for someone else. I would recommend using the bottle to completion before you completely write it off, but my first impression wasn't great :(

My husband has always been acne prone and went in medication for it as a teen but he always gets more during summer and we've tried everything and make sure we eat a healthy balanced diet but he just has oily skin this body wash along with the spray have worked the best out of everything we've ever tried my teen daughter uses it too which she's the perfect person too because she has hit the stage where playing soccer makes her sweat and get clogged pores so it helps keep her from having embarrassing acne

I have purchased this product after trying so so so so many body (and face) washes on my back. I have acne on my back and face and go to a dermatologist. I use medication and special washed on my face. I tried a made dermatologist wash and it didn't work at all. I LOVE proactive but it doesn't work on my back. Ive tried drugstore washes, body and face washes and it didn't work. THIS WASH IS A MIRACLE. it cleared up my bacne so much instantly. I have used this for months and months and have purchased this twice already. It also works well with spot treatments, tree tree oil and patches. I have very stubborn and painful bacnw from sweat and bra. This takes off the small bumps, small pimples, clogged pores, and huge deep pimples (with and without heads) bu gently exfoliating. It also is uncented, but smells pretty good. No chemical sent. Speaking of chemicals, i have beyond sensitive skin, from rashes to breakouts, chemical burns or even red dry itchy spots from products either over drying or reacting. Bur this has never done anything bad and works so nice and fast. This also can be used in hand or foams up nicely on a loofa. Anyway please get it. Its a life safer. Even in the summer. I can wear tank tops.

I used this daily - sometimes twice a day for over 2+ months. I did not see any difference - my bacne did not clear up or reduce. If anything it has gotten worse. I have tried so many products. I'm at a loss at this point.

I used this product as indicated for 3 weeks every other day and i started to see white spots all ever my skin. I immediately stopped using the product; but now i have with spots on my hand, back and legs. These spots will never go away per my dermatologist. BEWARE!!

This stuff is the best. My dermatologist gave me benzoyl peroxide which did nothing at all and I continuously got cysts on my back. This product strips away all the oil making it feel so soft and smooth even with painful big lumps on my back. It's a really nice smell and not strong and it helped me a lot and saw a huge difference in a week.

I never leave reviews, but had to after trying this body wash. I have been struggling with hormonal back breakouts for over a year now, and finally caved in and bought this after reading some good reviews. I am SO HAPPY I did. Within the first week I could start to tell a difference, and after a month of use my breakouts are completely gone. Being able to wear tank tops and open back dresses without feeling insecure is the best feeling. This product is a must have.

I really was hoping this product would work for me but unfortunately it did not. The body wash feels and smells amazing, but my skin did not like it at all. I have not had such a bad breakout in YEARS, and my skin totally freaked out when using this. I had a few bumps on my back when I started but after 5 days of use my skin has erupted. I have sensitive skin so maybe it didn't react well to something that was in it but I purchased it because salicylic acid is supposed to be good for sensitive skin. Probably works well for people with less sensitive skin. Will not buy again.

Like a lot of the reviews, within days of using the body soap, all my bacne cleared up but after a few weeks, it's all back. Not sure what to think because it seemed so effective at first.

I have been seeing a dermatologist for years for acne issues on my chest and back. I've used every type of benzoyl peroxide wipe or cream, retinol, antibiotics, you name it. After one week of using this my acne is GONE I can't believe how well it worked and now I don't have to be dependent on a pill! My skin is also super sensitive and this is just fine for it and smells amazing. I spend a few minutes washing my chest before work and use it in the shower with a loofah and my back and chest are clear. 11/10

I used this product, with the recommended body spray, for about a month and it had absolutely no effect. I had high hopes because of all the positive reviews but, in my opinion, if you have moderate to severe back acne I wouldn't waste my time or money on this product. There was absolutely no difference in my acne.

I've had acne on my shoulders for few years now and I've tried a few different salicylic acid body washes that haven't worked. This one help with in the first few days and it doesn't over dry the skin. It has a nice minty smell and a bit of a cooling feel. Great body wash!
