Most Helpful Positive Review Holy Grail!
I did receive this in the shade Fair Light Warm as a complimentary product to test and give my honest thoughts about, so here are my thoughts. I have terrible dark, Crease prone under eyes. I've tried a couple different concealers and they'll crease so badly within an hour or so the. pretty much just crack and fade within the 3 hour mark. I had given up on trying concealers because I felt like my under eyes just didn't play nice with them. Then here comes smashbox with my holy grail!! I seriously just love this concealer. It really compliments my dark and creased under eyes. As soon as I applied it with my sponge it blended out so nicely and made my under eyes looked sooo SMOOTH! I was shocked, I really didn't have high hopes to begin with when receiving this product because of how bad my under eyes are, but I judged way too quick. Now I can feel confident when doing a full face with this concealer! It did eventually crease but not in a bad way at all and it definitely took several hours for that to happen, plus I know it's my bad under eyes and not so much the concealer's fault. I'll definitely be purchasing this product myself when this baby runs out because I'm all for this concealer. I adore the natural, smoothing finish it has and how easily it blended out. It makes me want to try out a highlight and contour shade now! I'm so happy to have received this for free and get a chance to actually love it 😍
Most Helpful Critical Review Not what I was expecting
So I use concealer everday... I was really excited about this new Smashbox studio skin flawless in shade light neutral olive because it is promoted as a 24 hr concealer. I use concealer as a highlighter and as a standard concealer. I was excited seeing the size of the tube it came in. Bigger than I was expecting! As a highlighter for contouring it works fine and blends well... but as a concealer is really lack any umph... tried to build it up and it still does a poor job of covering blemishes and pimples.... it does good at taking the red out... but not smoothing the skin around the pimple... this would work better on my 16yr old to hide all her skin redness I think...
I received this products #complimentary for testing purposes. But I will not buy again after.

Under eye concealer
cakey under the eyes
not a cake from New York
I don't have dry or oily skin, yet this concealer just gets dry and cakey under my eyes. I've used sprays to try to moisturize it, but to no avail. Returned.
Excellent love this for my Oily/combination skin

Stays put ! Excellent product for contact lens wearers for under-eye circles as well as a multi-tasking concealer. considering I cannot wear setting powder that obstructs my view I will be a returning customer instead of Buying an overpriced product that does not do what it claims to do. Do yourselves a favor previous review writers, and learn your skin type, moisturize and apply a primer before you give an inaccurate review. Oil/combination skin, acne prone and sensitive is not always kind to oily/creamy products. Stop ruining great products for the right skin types by making stupid reviews. Works best with my 215 brush and I always have enough time to have it set without it over drying when u do one dark circle at a time and build the product up. If you dont moisturize and straight put on makeup thats your fault not the product because we aint all 20 and can do that. I have to moisturize using a gel hyaluronic acid + a light gel product for oily/combo, being 30 now; but even my mid 20's i had to as well. Id recommend staying to the lighter end of the spectrum if you're lighter skinned to avoid an overly yellow tone in concealer because its going into a range for different ethnicities. Thats the rule in makeup you go a shade or 2 lighter. My only thing that would help alot customers today would be dummy proofing instructions to these idiots purchasing things anymore.
Does what I need it to do :)
Izzy from New York
Bought a shade lighter (hard to buy online) so I cannot speak for coverage around my face but for my under-eye it does what I need it to do. A little thicker than I expected but long wearing and consistent.
Love this product

blends like nail polish

(thank you previous reviewer for title I reused it was accurate) I purchased this product in April and rarely wear makeup. My skin is well taken care of and moisturized, but no matter what this concealer does NOT blend no matter the method. it creases and makes cake patches like mud. even with light use/moderate use whatever doesn't matter this is like a creature out of a goosebumps book. the only nice thing I can say about it is it has a decent applicator for dabbing on product before switching to sponge/brush/finger/ steel wool .
Horrible for dry or ANY type of textured skin
Jc from Los Angeles
This is probably the worst concealer I have ever used. Ever. Over 3 months I've been trying to love it and make it work, and I've tried everything! Dewy setting sprays, extra EXTRA moisturizing, no powder...and this concealer still always creases horribly, sticks to every dry patch, and gives an extremely cakey finish. I know if you have fine lines, it'll crease no matter what, but I'm 22, and this concealer makes me look 40 in my under eyes. It's okay when applying with your clean finger onto fresh primed skin, sans foundation and setting powder, but if you love glamming and the natural look isn't for you, then this concealer will not be it for you either. I've always liked a concealer that could do both (work for my glam days *and* my natural days), but this concealer is so bad on top of literally any foundation, under any powder, and it just completely glues itself to your dry patches and amplifies all of your skin texture. I know this review is long, but honestly, the details are worth it. I wish I knew these things before I got this concealer. And I was seriously a die hard smashbox fan! Very disappointed, will never purchase again. Maybe it's the matte formula that's just too drying for me :(
Color did not match

Bought this concealer online because stores were closed. The shade I picked didn't match me 🙁

I used to use all MAC products. Their overrated. This Smashbox concealer is the best for African-American skin tones. I'm hooked and will not use another concealer.
Its Great! But its best for certain functions.

Ok, so I would like to start by saying I am a concealer JUNKIE and am always looking for the best concealers. So you can trust my opinion. First off, (I'll start with the cons) this concealer absolutely does NOT cover blemishes. So, if blemishes are your main concern when looking for a concealer, I would suggest use the It Cosmetics Bye-Bye Breakout or just Tarte Shape Tape (but apply with a brush). HOWEVER, this concealer is EXCELLENT for covering up dark spots, acne scars, and any hyperpigmentation. The formula itself is wonderful and looks BEAUTIFUL and natural on the skin despite being very high coverage. It did crease slightly on my dark circles but if you have lines simply all concealers will do that to a certain extent. As for the dark circles, the It Cosmetics Bye-Bye Undereye is still the BEST for undereyes and creases the least as well. So, overall, if your main concerns are acne scars, hyperpigmentation or dark spots, then THIS concealer will be absolutely excellent for you. Despite being very high coverage, it is still the perfect concealer for an everyday look as well, and looks BEAUTIFUL on the skin regardless. BUT, if one of your main concerns happens to be concealing blemishes or dark circles, then I would say spend your money elsewhere.
Burns and isn't full coverage
Madi from Okc
I don't have sensitive skin and still this burned around my nose. It isn't full coverage either and needs a lot of build up. Doesn't react well with most powders
I wouldn't buy this again.....
Evelyn from Pennsylvania
It's so thick I can't even blend it out properly and it has a really cakey finish.

I really really enjoy this concealer! I actually use it as foundation because I love the coverage!! It makes my skin look flawless and I always get compliments when I wear it. It's super long lasting.
Love this product!

I literally LOVE Smashbox anything, but this is definitely my go to concealer. As a natural redhead with a light complexion, it works very well covering my under eye circles. It works and blends well together with Smashbox 24 Wear Foundation.
Its pretty good
Karla from Huntington beach
I bought this along with the foundation but ended up using this one a lot more. It has great coverage and really gets rid of my redness and dark circles. A bit hard to blend, but overall a pretty good product.
I would buy this product again and again!

This product covers my under eye circles very well and doesn't crease. It's also not oily.
Great for casual makeup
Quetzali from San Francisco CA
It isn't full coverage but still covers up dark circles or blemishes and I can wear it to school without looking like I'm wearing a full face of makeup. Since my skin is a bit oily, it creases throughout the day but it's good as long as it's worn with powder.
Pretty good concealer.

My mom got these concealer in the shade medium and a couple months later let me try it and then keep it. It wasn't as amazing as my too faced or tarte shape tape, but it works well and the shade matches and blends well.
Jackie from Bastrop, Texas
I don't like to use a lot of makeup, and I don't really mind my blemishes being a little noticeable, but my skin gets really red when I break out. It's caused me to be very insecure over the years, and I was looking for something to cover the redness. I've always been very pale, and this concealer just so happened to have a shade light enough to fit my preferences. It's now my go-to concealer, and does an excellent job at hiding my redness. It does have a bit of a blending problem on its own, but I've found that with the right primer (I use smashbox's moisturizing primerizer, I think) and foundation (something more on the dewy side) and the right methods, this is hardly a problem. It doesn't move around too much, and touching up might be necessary after a day out, but it does a good job overall. Also looks pretty natural, which is a plus.
Kristina from NC
I use this every time I do my makeup! It's great for under eye coverage & I use it for other spots on my face as needed. Tip: work on one area at a time though, as it dries quickly & is much easier to work with while wet.
Not my favorite, but fine in a pinch
Carlene from Teaneck, NJ
I really wanted to love this. I loved the texture because it looked and felt very blendable. But this doesn't provide as much coverage as I'd like. It also looks a little dry on me, which is surprising given its almost serum-y like texture. It gives me about a light to medium coverage, and I can still see the discoloration from my under eyes very easily. My biggest issue is that it oxidizes so bad on me. I originally bought a medium shade but it turned into a color darker than my tan olive skin tone. After exchanging it, I had bought light-medium golden and it still turned darker and almost peachier. Despite it turning peachier, it still didn't do well at cancelling the discoloration under my eyes. I'll use it because I have it and I feel bad exchanging it again, but I will not be rebuying this concealer.

Waste of money. It doesn't do anything for you doesn't brighten or cover just disappears into thin air.
Kehau from Las vegas
It's an alright product but I wouldn't purchase again. It does blur the lines under your eye but coverage wise you have to apply at least 4 layers to get full coverage.
