Q
Is this product ok to use on color treated hair? I don't want it removing my color.
Asked by arbez1201

Hi! Yes, this formula is safe for color-treated hair—it's free of sulfates that can strip color, and instead features gentle, nourishing ingredients like aloe, panthenol (vitamin B5), and hyaluronic acid, along with soothing botanical extracts and no harsh alcohols or peroxide. We always recommend a patch test at the back of the scalp, but we've not had any customers with issues. Was this answer helpful to you

Soothes my itching!

I have run through the gamut of scalp treatments. I have seb derm. It will never be cured, and I know that. I bought this with low expectations, and I only received the serum today, so I can't speak for the effects of using it long-term. However, I am currently experiencing "scalp weeping" -- th...

Nice scent and felt nice on scalp. Burns if left on too long

I really enjoyed this product but it could definitely be improved. It feels nice on my scalp and seems to work great as a pre-wash treatment, I had some great wash days with it, but if I leave it on for more than a couple minutes it starts to burn my skin, I have sort of sensitive skin though so I'm...

Ive used it a few times but ultimately had to return it:(. Im disappointed in the lack of tingles despite the product supposedly containing mint in the formula. I didnt notice my hair feeling any different after use, the product i typically use often makes my hair cleaner and shinier after using. (I use the soapbox brand tea tree serum from Sally.). I dont know if it's specific because of the serum, but my scalp was itchy after use.

No Scent

I assumed a product described as "rosemary mint" would have a scent. Maybe I got a defective bottle, but mine has zero scent...nothing at all. I've used it twice so not really qualified to comment on performance, thus the neutral three stars. It did not irritate my scalp so that's a plus, but I was looking forward to a lovely minty scent =(

Useful, but why the slippery bottle?

The serum itself works fine. It doesn't have a strong smell and it's soothing on my scalp. I apply a few drops for a few minutes before washing my thick wavy hair. But who designed the package? Why on earth would this company put an *oily* substance in a *breakable* bottle that has *no* rubberized grip?

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Formula Change?

Submitted 1 year ago

My first bottle was back when the bottle was glass and relatively see through and i love it. It was almost watery it was so light and my hair has lots of dandruff and this really started to move it in the right direction. Got another bottle which is the bottle it looks now. Not see through and darker. This oil now is kinda goopy and way thicker than before and it made my head itch so badly and these massive flakes formed on my scalp. The literal opposite of the desired effect. Needless to say i will be returning as this formula change is disappointing
