This is lightweight and absorbs easily, without any greasy or tacky feeling. A part of my process for testing includes actually following the directions listed on the box, which included applying both daytime and at night. I was skeptical. I live in a state where we frequently get a lot of sunshine. I usually stick to ingredients like retinol and vitamin c at night because of the constant sun exposure. On top of this, I already had Shea Shea Bakery's Anti-Acne Toner in my skincare routine, which included vitamin c. I tried this toner for about 2 weeks, to be able to gauge if there were any noticeable changes in my skin. One of the things I immediately noticed about the Freshly Squeezed Glow was the pump top. It's a great design feature. I quite liked how quick and sanitary the pump was to get the product into my hands. Upon trying the serum, I am immediately hit with the aroma of fermented citrus. This is probably the worst aroma I Have tried from a product. I run a fragrance blog and I'm very particular about scent. Years of trying on perfume have gifted me with a fine-tuned nose. The aroma my nose had the displeasure of discerning was rancid and quite overwhelming. My preferences for skincare veer towards unscented skincare. In the first few days, I had no issues. It was just another serum for my skin. It didn't really seem to be affecting the texture, color, moisture, or feel of my skin. But this quickly changed. My skin felt dry, tighter than usual over the course of a couple of days. I was absolutely flabbergasted the morning I woke up to dry, irritated, and itchy skin. I've tried a lot of serums both clean and natural, formulas with minimal ingredients, Asian-based beauty from brands in Korea and Japan, indie, scented and unscented, and several mainstream serums. None of the serums I tried have ever caused my skin irritation. Most serums would either have no noticeable effect or would make my skin softer. The Freshly Squeezed Glow is the only serum that made my skin irritated. I wish I could say good things about the Freshly Glow Serums but this was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had with a serum. My skin has never been irritated even with the most fragranced facial skin products, and usually takes new products without a blip. But one's own skin chemistry is so wildly different from another. If I had to try it again, I would relegate it to nighttime routine only. But let's be honest, I'm definitely not going to try this serum again. As for a repurchase, would I buy this product? Absolutely not. To be honest this has tainted my opinion about Juice Beauty. I certainly would be hesitant to try one of Juice Beauty's products, because of this experience.

Received as a sample, and within a week of using it once a night noticed a huge difference. It absorbs nicely!! I love all of their products I just wish they weren't so pricey!

I'm sticking with it

It has a less than desirable smell, BUT I am sticking with it. Though I noticed a positive change after a week of use, it was my esthetician's comment of "whatever you're using, don't stop" that convinced me. It has lightened my melasma and helped with my "11" (above bridge of nose/between brows) wrinkles. I use solely at night because the smell is no bueno for daytime use.

I would not buy this product.

I received this serum as a sample size with my order. It was dark orange, oxidized and I had tried to use it anyway. But it left me with an orange stained patch on my skin. It washed off of course, but was not a pleasant experience and I tossed it.

I have used Vitamin C for years and when it is old it turns orange and smells. This is orange and smells horrific brand new. Ordered online so beware. Check freshness in store.

I got a sample of this product. After I squeezed it out on my face, when I went to rub it in I noticed it kind of stained that spot for a second. Whatever it took a sec, but I got it to rub in and go away and was fine. It left my skin feeling sticky even 30 minutes later Then I went into a room with better lighting and noticed that it my skin looked like it was orange. I'm going to stick to Paula's choice Vitamin c so I don't look like an Oompa Loompa...
