PerfectionI was gifted a shimmery dry body oil back in the late 00s that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, it was from an MLM company, and the glowy body oil trend seemed to die out around the same time. I've occasionally tried to find a replacement product that gives me the same fine shimmer and hydration. This Sunday Riley one is the best I've found in my decade of searching. I've tried Patrick Ta, KKW, Sol de Janeiro, and Biossance, but something about those was never quite right: no discernible glow, too greasy, too glittery, etc. I love the subtle but still very much apparent shimmer this gives, and the fine texture of the shimmer particles and the oil itself. The product absorbs nicely into my skin and gives me just the right amount of shimmer. I have light skin, but I can definitely believe what another reviewer reported about the product not showing up as well on dapper skin tones. I'd love if Sunday Riley released this in one or two additional colors or intensities to account for different skin tones.Love the look, love the feel, smells like suntan lotionThe shimmer is perfection. It's not glittery or showy at all, but it's definitely there in the right light. It looks beautiful on. The texture is silky and delicious. Though, maybe a little too slick for awhile in warm temps. My only negative was the smell. I expected it to smell like gardenia or some other essential oil used. But it smells a lot like old school Coppertone. That could be fun for summer... but I prefer a more complex, luxurious scent (my favorite is Divine Oil by Caudalie). But overall, this feels wonderful & looks beautiful.

SO worth it!

I was skeptical ordering this just because of the high price point and I wanted a really shimmery body oil for the summer. I found the best way to apply this is right after any shower or bath, and it is so pretty on the skin. It's super soft and has the perfect amount of shimmer on it where it's not too overpowering. And it makes my skin feels super smooth.

I hope they never stop making this. It's my spring and summer moisturizer. I get compliments all the time when using it as it makes my skin look really healthy. Looks great on my regular fair skin or even when I have on a spray tan.

Golden sheen

A lovely sheen of golden shimmer that mostly subtle. Adds just the perfect finishing touch to your skin. Light scented, nothing over powering. The oil really does dry down and absorbs into your skin so you're not left with an oil slick on your body. 10/10 recommend
