Yummy, versatile palette! This is the third Too Faced Palette that I own, & I was BEYOND ecstatic when I received this. I purchased the original Chocolate Bar palette as well as the Sweet Peach palette. All smell absolutely delicious and are a treat in scent alone. This palette is by far my favorite of the 3. It smells like deep chocolate brownie as soon as you open the pan but not to the point where it's overpowering. Once applied there isn't any lingering scent. The packaging is sturdy and compact with a magnetic close. I adore that the Too Faced Palettes come with mirrors which is great for on the go. The color story of this palette is beautiful with both shimmers and matte shades but I do wish there was a bit less of the similar brown neutrals but that's not an issue for me. I would say that this palette is a great palette for travel as it has all the options you need to create numerous looks. I've used this palette consistently for a couple months and have tested it through intense California summer heat as well as rainy days, with primer and without. The color payoff from the matte shades are wonderful. The consistency is smooth, they are easily blend-able and are highly pigmented. The shimmer shades are visually stunning in pan but after the initial swatch, my heart sank. I was afraid that they weren't as pigmented but with primer they look great! Too Faced does explicitly recommend you use primer with this palette and I fully agree. It will give the color payoff you desire and will hold these beautiful shadows to your lids. I used a combo of both shimmer and matte shades without primer on a hot California heatwave day at Disneyland & they were slipping and sliding all over the place. Luckily I brought the palette with me for touch ups lol. I came back the next day with primer (same heatwave), and they stayed all day with little creasing! My favorite shades are Sugar Rush, I'm The Dessert and Bitter Half. They are stunning! Overall I loved this palette and couldn't stop reaching for it over these past few months over my extensive collection of palettes. The color story is versatile and fun and although some shades have a bit of fallout, they are pigmented and last great with primer underneath. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful versatile palette to add to their collection and/or looking for a palette that's really great for travel. But please use primer! Lol :)
A Nice Palette, Just Not the Best for Me This review is incentivized. I received a complementary Better Than Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette from Influenster and Too Faced. Also, some of my favorite palettes so far are from Too Faced. That all being said, I really wanted to love this palette. It is beautiful to look at. It has attractive packaging and all the shadows look pretty in the palette. There are some eye catching pops of color. I was super excited to try it out. I am relatively new to makeup and have a limited skill set, so some of my complaints may be due to a lack of knowledge and/or skill. However, after using it for several looks, I'm slightly disappointed. I feel like some of the shades had poor color payoff. For some shades, I had to use a lot of product to get what I was looking for, and then there was a significant amount of fallout as well. The worst culprit being "Sugar Rush." I had to use my finger and a lot of product to get it to really show up as anything except a faint shimmer. It is really pretty after I apply a ton of it, but I don't want to have to do that for a color to show up. My other complaint is that there is not a really good brow bone color for me in the palette at all and there are a lot of very similar brown shades, which makes sense given the name, but didn't really work for me. I would take away a couple of the browns and add a lighter shade and maybe another pop of color. Also, I found it a little more difficult to blend these shadows than the shadows in my other Too Faced palettes and other high-end palettes I've used, but again, that could just be me. Now that I've complained, I have to add that the matte shades show up really well and some of the shimmers take a little less work to show up too and they do look really beautiful after you do work to get them to show up, so it's not awful by any means. I just think that for the price, I would personally skip this one and go for a different Too Faced palette instead. There are some great ones to choose from.

I like the eyeshadow pallet a lot, but the purple and blue didnt show up that well at all! Its a good eyeshadow pallet, but If I buy something for 50+ dollars I want it too be pigmented.

The product itself isn't the same. Not as I remember, anyway. I had such excitement. But when I opened it was like "oh.." compared to the chocolate gold one it just seems like the attention to detail has got put on the back burner.
Love it! 4

I've been debating on getting this palette since it came out, and I finally pulled the plug. The palette blends out very well, The shimmers are high quality, but I still use fix plus with my shimmers to make them extra metallic. But all in all, this palette has created beautiful looks, and I'm very happy with it. I also saw little to no fallout, which is always a plus. Love me a good neutral palette, with little to no fuss.

I love this color story more than any of the other chocolate palettes! It smells just like cocoa and glides right one. What more could you ask for?! It's a good palette if your wanting a neutral eye with a bit of a pop of color. Great color story and too faced does it again with this one!
