Most Helpful Positive Review Great for dry, color treated hair
The reason the 1 star reviewer doesn't like this conditioner is probably the reason I love it so much. I have thin, dry, color treated hair that needs a lot of nourishment. A lot of conditioners and masques out there leave my hair feeling like straw but this one always leaves it soft, smooth, and silky. I don't even need to use a leave in conditioner after to get a brush through it. I've used numerous brands over the years including Kerastase, Aveda, and Redken, but this is the only one I've consistently kept in my shower for over 15 years. I highly recommend it for anyone with dry, color treated hair. I use the matching shampoo too.
Most Helpful Critical Review This is the worst conditioner I have ever used....
I go to a salon to have my hair colored, so I do spend a bit more on shampoo & conditioner to make it last. I purchased this in store, and saw it on sale. Paul Mitchell is usually pretty decent, having used different shampoo & conditioners from their company in the past. This was my first purchase of the color conditioner. It is awful! i washed my hair using their color shampoo & followed with the conditioner. Then as it dried, it started looking really dull and greasy. Heavy. I tried using less (used a quarter size drop with shoulder length hair), and it felt like it is rinsed clean every time. Then it dries and looks like I didn't wash it at all. I wish I could get my money back. So not worth it!!!

I use the Paul MItchell shampoo and conditioner for colored hair every day. I have no complaints for either of those products.

Use after I wash my hair with the shampoo version of this product.
Paul Mitchell is a good line of hair care; never sticky, always leaves my hair smooth and silky with no residue.

I will never buy this product again

I get my hair done at the salon and was looking for some product to make my dye job last longer. This product is not it. I have wavy, thick hair and this dries my hair out while I'm in the shower and I have to use a lot of product. It leaves my hair tangly and dry. I struggle to comb my hair right out of the shower when it's still very wet. I would be better off not conditioning my hair at all!
Paul Mitchell is a great go to brand

Ran out of conditioner. Decided to spend a little more to see if there was really a difference. So far, I'm glad I bought this!
Would not buy again

Was looking for a conditioner that was a little cheaper then Pureology and I guess you get what you pay for. This stuff did not feel great on my hair and I had to use a lot of it. I have a lot of thick hair too. Will not be buying this again.
This is a great product

I use this product to help soften my hair and keep it shiny.
Not enough moisture
Jesa from Ohio
Not a fan of this conditioner. It doesn't moisture the hair enough and the consistancy is very thin. I like conditioners that are thick and ones that put a lot of moisture into the hair. This product just did not do that for me. If you have thin hair it will probably be great for you, but I have thick hair and it did not do the job.

Dull and greasy
Meghann from Schaumburg
I was really trying to like this conditioner. I had just dyed my hair a nice vibrant shade and was looking for something that would help protect the color as much as possible. This made my hair so dull and greasy that I could barely stand it and ended up having to put my hair in a ponytail every day. I tried to power through it, but two weeks after I dyed my hair, even with washing in cold water every time, the color had been almost completely dulled and drained from my hair. I know hair dye all fades eventually, but it seemed to fade much faster than ever before with this conditioner. At this point, this offers absolutely ZERO benefits. In my opinion, save your money and look for something else
After Years of Searching
Rando from Simi Valley, CA
After years of searching for a Conditioner for my dry hair. I've bleached my hair for 20+ years, it's fine and became very dry. This amazing conditioner has solved my dry hair problem! I've used it for a year now and still love it! Not a fan of the shampoo, but I use the Awapuhi shampoo and it's a perfect combo! I highly recommend if you have damaged hair from years of color.
Great for my hair!

Unfortunately, what others have said about these products making your hair feel greasy are true. It just was not a good fit for ME. There is little to no lather or fragrance. The consistency felt...off. It is almost like it was stripping away something from my hair. I expected different, but instead was disappointed. The shampoo and conditioner just did nothing for me. Time to find another brand which will safely protect my hair color and my hair. I used to believe this was a top of the line brand, but I guess they have gone downhill over the years.
Save your money

This is probably the worst shampoo and conditioner I have ever used. It feels so gross while using, it feels like it's not even cleaning my hair. It leaves my hair so dry on the ends but also very greasy... don't ask me how that's possible! I am so dissatisfied with this product. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy this product!!! P.S. It smells like baby powder, not a smell I want on my head all day long.
Citrusy clean scent
Dawnmichele from New York, NY
A little goes a long way of this fresh slightly citrusy scented conditioner. Works well with the shampoo. Does not strip or lighten haircolor. Redhead friendly

I was not impressed with this one at all. I have used many Paul Mitchell products in the past but did not care for this one. I'm not sure if it was the shampoo or the conditioner, or the combination of the two but it made my hair feel dirty and greasy the following day after using. I took back and exchanged for something else.

I bought this product because Ulta was out of my usual Biolage. NEVER AGAIN! I used this in combination with the Paul Mitchell Color Protect Shampoo and it dried my hair out SO much that my stylist had to cut two and a half inches off my hair. Terrible product. I'll never buy anything PM again!!

This product sucks
Julia from Columbia,sc
I started using this product recently as it was referred by an Ulta employee, and this literally sucks. I have no had 3 experiences where i have to get back in the shower and rewash my hair with other products to get the conditioner out. I am not one to normally not wash out all of my conditioner and this one is horrible. It has completely ruined my hair by drying it out and matting to my roots.
I repurchased for 1st time in 5 yrs and it's still no good
bianca from Houston, TX
First purchased this about 5 years ago and was very disappointed by results. My hair felt greasy, weighed down, and rough/dull. I repurchased this week, used it for the 1st time in years and it left my hair feeling the exact same way that it did the 1st time around. My hair feels damaged, dull, greasy close to the roots and I even rinsed longer than usual because I remembered how it made my hair feel in the past. I wouldn't recommend, pay a few extra bucks and try something else.
