Though naturally neat and arched, my brows are too dark! Too dark that they can never match my lightened hair colour. For this reason, I have been on a hunt for a brow product that would do just that: lighten my brows to compliment my hair. Over the years, I have tried and tested a number of eyebrow pencils, but not a single one can seem to satisfy me with the results I was looking for. It is from my constant "re-searching" over the net, reading beauty blogs, that I stumbled upon the MAC Brow Set. All the reviews that I came across seem to favour the product, so I thought why not give it a shot! The MAC Brow Set in Girl Boy ended my searching game for the best brow product to temporarily lighten my brows. It was love at first stroke, indeed! I instantly fell in love with the product as soon as I was able to try it on the MAC counter, and from then on, led its way to my makeup staples! Thanks to this beauty, my eyebrows now perfectly compliment my golden-brown hair! - The MAC brow set, true to its purpose, is able to define my brows giving it a bolder look, while tinting them lighter. - The product makes my brows stay in place; never stiff, flaky or dry. - The gel is very pigmented. Girl Boy's colour pay-off is amazing! The lightened brows make my face brighter and somewhat, tamer. - It is long-lasting; the longest I have had it on my brows is for about 12 hours, and no fading was observed. - It has a pleasant smell; great for the scent-conscious. - The container holds a decent amount of product that could last for ages. Additionally, the clear container is a good indicator of how much of the product is left. - The wand picks up the right amount; never messy and nothing goes to waste, in my case. - Can be worn solo or over filled-in brows, depending on how thick the brows are. - There are 4 shades available ranging from clear to dark to light. There is one to compliment each hair colour changes. I will definitely re-purchase the product over and over! Thanks for reading my review! :)
I use the Velux Eye Pencil to line and define my brow and then the brow gel to set the style. Unfortunately, if you use the gel brush to apply, any eye pencil applied to your skin will come off. Luckily, one of your on-line consultants suggested using my finger to apply the gel and set my brows. That works better. Maybe this product should be packaged in a pot instead of a brush on.

Use for eyebrows and lashes. I have naturally long lashes and don't always like using regular mascara. This defines my lashes and is not clumpy at all. I do use on my brows too, just to keep them in check.

I bought this because I wanted my brows to hold their shape. One little bump and they're out of place. If you don't touch your brows, put on a shirt, wear a hat or beanie, or sweat then they'll stay in place. But if you do any of these normal activities they won't stay in place.

Not what I thought it would be. Beginning at the arch and back of my eyebrows I have hairs that want to stick up. Thought this would control them. Doesn't seem to be working for me. May work for someone younger. Guess mine spent too many years doing what they wanted to

This product is a 2nd favorite to the Benefit clear brow gel. While the MAC does not have as much of a hold, I like the spoolie and the clear bottle to show how much product is left!

I have nice eyebrows, but I'm getting some white hairs that are really hard to cover with pencil. Brow Set is the perfect answer. It covers the light areas perfectly and looks very natural. It also grooms and holds and stray hairs. I have reddish blonde hair and eyebrows are mixed light brown/blonde/gray. I purchased in Beguile and I love it.

Easy to use and always a great result !! only downside is it gets dirty over time and because the packaging is see through you can see the gel looking all goopy. But the product still works amazing

I was reluctant to try this product because it just seems strange that a gel can help your eyebrows stay put, but it absolutely does the job and exceeds my expectations! I have thin sparse eyebrows where the tail is suppose to be so I have to draw it on. Usually by noon, the tail has faded; however, when I use this product, not only is the tail still there at 8 or 9pm when I get home from work, but both of my eyebrows look exactly like they look when I sculpt them in the morning. I hope to never be out of this product. MAC, y'all are notorious for discontinuing or revamping the ingredients of products by claiming it's "new and improved." I beg of you, please DO NOT play games by changing or eliminating this product. Pretty Please!!! This stuff is super easy to use so if anyone is having an issue with it, it is a user error and not the product because I am by no means a make up expert, but my eyebrows are on fleek with this here.
