Most Helpful Positive Review You need this brush!
Honestly, I got this brush because whenever I see a new item from "e.l.f." - I buy it, even if I don't necessarily need it. :) I have tons of brushes (low and high end), but I do have my all-time favorites from "e.l.f." that I always seem to go back to. So I figured, why not?
You absolutely need this brush if you do any kind of crease work and especially if you are a fan of smoky eyes or gradient eyeshadows!
This brush is very unique because not only is it tapered, but it is also pinched on the sides. I included some pictures with this review, so you could (hopefully) get a better idea of its shape. Please excuse the dirty bristles; I literally use it every single day.
I personally always deepen up my crease just a bit. In my opinion, it gives a bit more dimension to the eye, even if you are wearing almost no makeup at all. On those days, I just use a color about a shade darker than my skin tone. So I used to always use the MAC 239 for that purpose. When I discovered this particular blending brush from "e.l.f.", there was no going back to the 239. Not even once!
The bristles on this brush are very soft and extremely well tapered from all sides. It's a bit thinner and less squared off than the MAC 239. Because it's thinner, more tapered and softer (in my opinion), it fits much better in the crease and feels unbelievably gentle on your skin. I find that its shape is perfect for deepening up your crease because you can manage not to blend out the color too far out (since the brush is thin), but yet you do incorporate that little bit of depth in your crease and it blends in so effortlessly. Although you definitely can bring the color out as far as you need to; I just personally prefer to use this brush specifically for the crease line. And I love that it's thin but the "fluffy" kind of thin if that makes sense. It's just a very elegant, unique brush and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Most Helpful Critical Review Soft but not what I was expecting
I love the quality of this brush and the softness... However it is not the typical blending brush, it isnt a round brush it is more flat ... The best way to describe this brush is it being more of a fluffy packer brush... If your looking for a more traditional rounded blending brush I would grab ELF's "Fluffy Eye Blender Brush" both brushes are very good quality... But the pictures dont show what the brush actually is, this brush is not effective for what the name suggests

I picked this up at the same time that I was buying some morphe brushes, since I wanted just an extra, but I actually get more use out of this one! I love it and would recommend to anyone.

This is a pinched blending brush, kind of like a fluffy packer; as in, it is flat on one side. It is really nice to go thin in the crease, or lay on more colour on the outside edges and really fluff it out.
Great for everyday use

I tend to buy mid-level brushes. I love IT and Sonia Kashuk brushes. But I needed a few backup brushes for when I was too lazy to wash my good ones or for traveling. This brush did not disappoint. It applies shadow evenly and blends well.

Heard wonderful things about ELF brushes. For the price, it wasn't god-awful, but it was way too stiff. I played with it for awhile and finally decided to use it as a "deep crease" brush for a dark color. "Blending" was probably the wrong description for ELF to use on this one because it'll take off all of your shadow if your hand is too heavy.
Amazing and Versatile

I've used this brush for over a year now and I love it. I can use it for my crease, to blend shadows, and to pack shadow onto the lid. I haven't had to buy another one and I wash my brushes once a week! It works as good as the first time.
I will recomend to my friends

I buy the best brand for the best price I don't buy budget Make up a.

The brush itself is a little too stiff for eye makeup blending in my opinion. Hoping over time it will become less so.
My Fav Eyehsadow Brush!!

My brush has been holding on for almost 3 years, and has lost virtually no brush hairs! I mostly use it to apply my transition eyeshadow shades, but I recently started using it for my nose contour.

AZSunshine from Tonawanda, NY
The brush is sooo super soft. It's really good at picking up product and distributing it evenly. ELF has some great brushes at such affordable prices. There's no need to shell out $50 for one eyeshadow brush when you can pick up a couple of these.
Useful, Inexpensive Brush
TJ from Tempe, AZ
These are great little budget brushes for short-term use or for products that typically ruin brushes. As a whole, the basic Elf brush line is a good start for beginners.
Been recopping this brush for years!
Teetee from Antioch, CA
The only reason why I stuck with this brush for so long is because I started off with this brush and thought it was the best thing ever but let me tell you!!! This brush may feel all soft for a while when you first use it but after that for some reason it starts getting stiff on you and this brush eats your eyeshadow like crazyy!!! In less than a week or 2 your brush will look like somebody's kid used it as a paint brush in school and will have you probably looking like a raccoon or zombie!!! But after you go and clean the brush it will start feeling tomorrow and more ruff!!! I highly recommend not to get this!!! Morphe Brushes are way better
