Comments about Drybar Blonde Ale Brightening Shampoo:

I really love this shampoo. I recently moved and had to find a new salon and unfortunately I left the new salon with orange/brassy hair...I debated between the blonde sexy hair and this and since this had slightly higher reviews I chose this one. I've used it twice and it honestly works, it took my orange/brassiness out. It also leaves my hair very soft, I've never been able to go a day without washing my hair because it gets tangly at the ends and greasy at the roots but this keeps it velvety smooth throughout and not greasy! Amazing product and I'll forever use drybar!

This product works well as a toner. Made my hair very pretty. (blonde) cleans well. A little drying but your conditioner will do the trick.

Comments about Drybar Blonde Ale Brightening Shampoo:

At first glance I was hesitant to spend this much on such a small bottle. After reading the comments I thought I'd give it a try. SO glad I did. I have chemically treated hair (brunette to light blonde) and it obviously takes a toll. I also get a Keratin or Brazilian Blowout treatment as well. Because of this I have to use sulfate free shampoos. I also look for purple shampoo to keep my blonde from getting brassy. It's hard to find a good shampoo that does both and lathers well. I've tried several high end shampoos (I'm a beauty junkie) and none compare to this. This lathers wonderfully and doesn't take half the bottle to finally feel clean. Well worth the money. I alternate between this and the Brazilian Blowout daily. My hair feels clean and never dry. Worth every penny.

Comments about Drybar Blonde Ale Brightening Shampoo:

Absolutely love this product. Dry bar is always worth the money. If you color your hair blonde and often find it becoming a bit yellow or brassy this will fix that. I've tried many toning shampoos over the years (I've been bleaching my hair since middle school and I am now 25) and this is by far the best one I've used. It doesn't leave your hair looking gray or too purple like some do. And it smells AMAZING. Will continue to buy

Comments about Drybar Blonde Ale Brightening Shampoo:

I use the product two times a week as the bottle instructions say. I have medium brown hair at the roots and dark blonde hair at the ends naturally. My hair is not brassy. So why did I purchase this product (which is typically for people who die their hair blonde and it turns orange/brassy)? I know the shampoo is essentially a toner, so I was curious to see if it would lighten the light brown areas and boost them into being more blonde. The product does pack a punch, because I noticed a slight change of color tone after just the first use. The light ashy brown areas turned pinkish redddish blonde! Hahaha I am not a control-freak, so it's not a big deal for me. I have some girlfriends whoever who would throw a hissy fit. Maybe I am a strawberry blonde underneath the gray brown? Who knows. Purchasing this product was a fun experiment. Next time I would just go to a colorist and have them add that extra blonde boost. In conclusion, I can not speak for the majority of people who would purchase this product. I can speak for natural light brown/blonde people. I do not recommend this product for this group because it is not appropriate.

I have blonde hair that is color treated and have been using blonde shampoos and toners for years. So often they don't make a difference and just dry out your hair. This one is amazing and I actually saw a difference the first week I was using it. It also smells amazing. I use this 2-3 times a week and it really helps my color stay bright. It doesnt dry out my hair at all but I feel like it has helped my thin hair thicken a little. It is expensive for the size but you do not use it every day so I think it is worth it. I will definitely be repurchasing this and trying some of their other blonde products.
