Adorable and works great for months I have used this shower cap 2-3 times per week for months now, and I have had literally no problems with it. It works really well. Other reviews say the threads fall out, or it's poor quality…or even that it smells like mildew?? What are you doing to your poor shower cap lol?? Crumpling it up and storing it wet??
Anyway - I put my hair in a long, high ponytail because my hair will stay too wavy if I put it in a bun. Then I flip my head upside down, lead the ponytail in end first, and then I slip on the shower cap. When I'm in the shower the cap gets wet, but my hair does not. It also helps keep out excess humidity - I don't have problems with condensation inside the cap when I'm done with my shower, and my hair come out so much less frizzy than when I don't use my shower cap.
The thick gold elastic keeps the cap in place, and all of the materials are nice, relatively heavy quality. I don't know if I would want anything heavier than this shower cap. I definitely know I don't want or need a different shower cap - maybe I've developed a bond with mine since I use it multiple times a week. It also travels well.
It's a really nice shower cap, and when I saw it on sale again, I figured I should drop a good review.
Just Awful You have to be pretty bad to mess up a shower cap, but here this is doing it. the material is very plasticy, thick and cheap. the elastic around the bottom is very loose so no seal around your hairline and IT IS HUGE! I don't have what I would consider a small head but actually more on the above average side and this thing was absolutely enormous. It is a complete waste of money, I couldn't even full use it once and it went straight in the trash.

Not a big fan of this shower cap. I don't like the elastic, it's a loose fit. The cap is huge and doesn't sit right on my head.

You must have a latger than average head, LOTS of hair or both for this to work. Also, water seeps in through the lining. And when i leave it to hang dry, the water from tbe lining collects inside of the cap. So im always having to flip it inside out. Not great for protecting your edges.

I have very thick 4C hair. This shower cap fits no problem. I currently have in waist length box braids and I have no issues fitting all of the braids in the shower cap. The cap came with some of the threading around the elastic sticking out, I just snip it off when I see it. The shower cap is pretty inexpensive for the size so that little imperfection isn't going to bother me. When this one runs it's course, I'll just repurchase.
