I love mauvy shades, but usually, they look like the aftermath of Pompeii on my tan (south asian) skin tone. I know these brands don't have to cater to me specifically, but I can't lie I'm kind of disappointed that they keep putting out these shades that are pretty but look like ash central on anyone deeper than Mac NC 42. I'm pleased with this palette because every shade works for me in terms of pigmentation and blend-ability. I can do a super simple look with the lighter colors blown out across the lid/crease and I can also use the deepest shade to make my looks more dramatic. The shimmers work great, but they aren't out-of-this-world. The fact that every color works for me is a big win. Now I can be in peace with mauves that *actually* have some depth to them.
Juvia's formula can be a hit or miss for me. They tend to be really dry and not buttery at all. They do shimmer way better. The mattes are not that pigmented in this palette. Which is not a bad thing necessarily as you can build that gradient. But I was hoping for more color impact, thus a 3-star rating. That middle sparkly shade on the bottom is INCREDIBLE. Alone might be worth the price ticket. It's so unique and has an amazing shift. I used a wet brush and finger to build the pigment. If you have green or hazel eyes, these mauvy shades will make them pop. I just wish those mattes were creamier.

The shadow stayed on all day. And I rub my eyes and touch my face more than I should. The color story is great and the price point is nice.

I have two other small palettes, the Lilacs and the Berries and purchased the Mauves on a whim. I found I like this new one the best and find it complementary to the other palettes. Very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful pinks and purples that pack a punch. This is my first Juvias Place pallete and I'm so happy with it! These colors are vibrant so it won't be an every day pallete for me. I was looking to add these shades to my collection and this little pallate is perfect. The bottom center shade is a beautiful glitter topper not a solid shade, if a little glitter fall out bothers you use a glitter glue first. I have a little staining from the pink mattes but that's not unusual for these shades with such intense pigment.

I didn't like this one as much. The shimmery shade is interesting but its annoying how much the glitter in it steers away from where I am trying to put it. it ends up around my brow bone sometimes when I am applying it to my lid. sadly a disappointing pallette. Some good dark shades. This isn't exactly a "mauve" pallette either. Its just pinks, a magenta and a duochrome pink, plummy brown. True mauve is cool tone purplish pink with a hint of grey and brown.

The mauves palate is wonderful, reasonably priced and works better than some more expensive pallets I've bought. Highly recommend, will buy again

This palette is my personal favorite of my Juvia's place shadows. These perform so well. Great color payoff, easy to blend, and the glitter pops with ot without base. There isn't much fallout either, which is always a nice perk.

This is a pigmented palette. it takes some time blending though. I got this palette as well as the other ones from this series on sale for half off. I think these are definitely $7 or $8 palettes. they are pretty colors but it definitely takes work blending and for $11 more you can get a Natasha denona mini palette so I say that to say that the price range is above the quality but not saying that it's a bad palette if you get them I would definitely recommend them to a friend but tell them to get it on sale

Pretty in pink describes this pallette. There is no mob Shades in this palette do not be old. The colors are pretty but however they are not mobbed. They are blendable and they are some nice shape. I would have gave it five stars but the title is misleading.

I love this brand . I have a few palettes but this one didn't have much pigment and the glittery color was just glitter and no pigment . I returned

Pleasantly surprised how long lasting the color is. I have only skin and most eyeshadow sluffs off by the end of the day but this is still pretty by days end.

I liked it, but I had to layer, and also wet my brush for the shimmer shades. Did not use a primer. A lot more pink than what I expected it to be. But overall, I think they were very pigmented and pretty!
