Most Helpful Positive Review Seems silly but super useful I felt very dumb buying this, plus i didn't realize how much it was until i checked out. But once i started using it, absolutely no regrets! I have small very hooded eyes and wearing mascara has always sucked for me. I was to a point where i couldn't wear anything except thick eyeliner when i wore mascara because no matter what i did i got mascara all over my eyelids. I wear a liquid liner wing almost every day so I'm not a total makeup novice. It took me maybe 2 minutes to figure out the best way to use this thing and I've been using it every day since. There are little ridges on the tool so it actually helps my lashes from getting clumpy too. If you have hooded eyes i would say at least try this thing out, it's not hard to use and really makes a difference!
Most Helpful Critical Review Nothing special I loved the idea behind this tool, however I feel like it prevents me from being able to actually apply my mascara normally. I'd rather just wipe off any mascara that gets on my upper or lower lids.

I'm happy I found this online, and happy my local ULTA store had it in stock. I was sooo annoyed getting mascara on the top eyelid, as I'm 57, and have short sparse lashes. No more mascara on eyelids! Just wish they made this tool in clear, instead of black.
Eyelashes extension Guard! 5
eyelashlover from San Francisco
i use this to cover my eyelash extensions. It helps me do my eye shadow with out getting fall out on my extensions! Ill never be scared to do my eye makeup again
Black color makes it useless 2
Kris8m from Staten Island
Seemed like a great idea but can't see my lashes or the mascara wand at all because everything is black. Works ok for eyeshadow fall, but that's not really what I needed it for.
Great for blonde lashes 5
Cobra021498 from Moore, OK
I admit, it's not comfortable to use, the color camouflages your lashes and so on. I have blonde lashes & I never get all of them covered without getting mascara on my under eye. I do my makeup in great lighting so I had no issues seeing what I was doing. I was able to get better results using it.
ok 3

better to use on clients then yourself. should be a different color then black
Protect your lash extensions! 5

I used this to protect my lash extensions from fallout from my eyeshadow!
Ummmm 1

So I didn't see the point of this at all. This was a BOOO all the was around. It's awkward to hold when using and I made a bigger mess when I used.
Not Useful 1

Tried it but can't see eyelashes
Can't see my lashes 2
Jill from Rockford
Good idea, but didn't realize my lashes would disappear against the dark color. Better off white or pastel. It's meant to get messy.
Very Nice 5
JJ from AZ
It's soft and flexible, it does help with keeping mascara off my eye.
can't live without it! 5
jebeauty15 from Rhode Island
This mascara guard is better than I expected, especially seeing so many negative reviews. The guard is decently flexible so you can really mold it to your eyelid behind your lashes. Very easy to clean, and I cannot put on mascara normally without it now!
Not what I expected 2
Pita from Ny
It's not easy to use. Maybe it's too thick? I'm not sure. Hard to see my lashes as well.
Why black??? 2
Nonie from Tulsa
I'm still practicing. The black color is a hindrance. I would prefer a lighter color so I can see my lashes. With black, it is hit and miss.
Works good 5
Kat from Walhalla, SC
Really helps me with my lower lashes. I usually just use eyeliner on them but now I can do mascara with making a mess.
It's a great idea, but.....? 3
susang27 from Modesto, Ca
It's a great idea, but it is difficult to use and does not really work very well.
Nifty little gadget saves me a step 5
Donnaleem from NC
Works so well on keeping your mascara application mistake proof. Must have gadget.

I love this mascara guard, it keeps it on my lashes where it needs to be! & it's easy to clean!
Worthless! 1
Medic5 from Cleveland , Ohio
This tool was half price but even that was too much. The goal was to avoid getting mascara on the lid area where liner and shadow are already applied. It's awkward to work with, hold in left hand while mascara is in the right hand? Then make it an L shape . You must wash it between doing the other eye. Way too much effort .
a little awkward but still good 4
Catie T from Boston MA
Works pretty well but a little awkward trying to hold this and your mascara wand, but it did help me with my application on my lower lashes from getting everywhere.
I would definitely buy again 4

This tool has helped so much when putting on my mascara. No more raccoon eye mishaps
Super weird 2
AlysaG from Columbus
I thought I would enjoy it more than I did, I always get black mascara on my lid of my eyes, thought this would help, but it turns out it's just easier to wipe off the mascara than to try to use that .
Good Little Tool 4
Miss FiFi from Washington DC
I like the feel of this tool. It feels (and looks) expensive. The rubber guard is the perfect size. I use it for my bottom lashes. #Perfect👌🏽
Awkward 1
Eyes from King Of Prussia
Bought this because I always get mascara on my eyelid and have to use eye makeup remover to get it off. Holding this was awkward and didn't work well. I think I need more of an eyelid pad that I can just put on vs having to hold this and a wand. Return.
Handy little tool but..... 2
Sophie from Boston
this tool would be perfect if the silicon pad is clear. while its a black color pad, I cant see my lashes or what I was doing while putting on mascara. However, I do love the shape of this handy tool. I will not be keeping it as reason stated early.
Hard to use 2
Ana from Lafayette
Really hard to use and to get in the right spot. I get the idea of it but dosnt necessarily work in my opinion.
