Cuts down on waste. I was looking at a bottle of Liquid Studio Fix that I thought was almost empty. As I kept trying to pour product out for application, I realized a lot was staying in the bottle because of coating the sides. I ran to MAC and picked up the pump. I vow to keep my foundation bottles vertical and use the pump to extract product. Also because the pump is measured and precise it cuts down on the waste of over pourage.
Another wonderful feature is that there is a cap for the pump and the head locks so there aren't accidental pumps in your make up bag or spillage.
As expected Fits my Estée Lauder double wear perfectly without needing to cut the stem. Only downside it that there is no real cap but a little half cap that is difficult to recap in a rush and falls off easily. This also serves as the only way to lock the pump. So I was forced to keep the original cap as it's more secure for travel than the pump.

I am very happy about this product. It allows me to pump the right amount of product that is needed without leaving a mess or using to much.

I like it alot but when i got home was dissapointed cause i realized it did not come with a cover so essentially it will get all over my purse.

I love the studio watwrweight but not a fan of the eye dropper thing. But this does NOT fit that bottle.

The only reason why I'm giving this a review is because it works. But this is soo stupid, coming back to mac products to find out this is separate. back in the day it came with the product. smh
